Anyone, who doesn't live in the basement of their parents. Go touch some grass.

Wrong answer. The correct answer is nobody loves a lack of a dark theme.

Looks like Google’s new feature was just listening to complaints.

Let me please rant a bit. I hate dart themes.

Have few colleges, who are so brain dead, that they cannot resist this fashion. Green on dark terminals, dark theme everywhere.

You can't read a shit, when they're screen-sharing. :(

How is it a thing?

Eyes hurt. Less light → less hurt.

Not everyone is colorblind, some people can read white text on black backgrounds or green text on grey backgrounds.

Also, I hate that you've made a funny post one that I've once upvoted

No, you can't read when they're screen sharing. We can just fine.

Well, dark themes do struggle on presentations, whether it is screen sharing or an actual slideshow.

However, there is many measurable benefits, not to mention its an aesthetic choice like any other.

You seem extremely narrow minded, you can’t even fathom other people have a different aesthetic preference to you

Dark themes help with eye strain. They're not a fashion trend. If you're staring at a screen for many hours on end, like many programmers, it helps a lot.
