Does that make the client a “scope creep”? 🤪
The one intern: I will do it vibe coding
client: "the last page had that feature we cant launch without it"
client 6 month earlier: "feature x is no longer needed if we need some replacement we will come back to it..."
thanks to team management writing all that down.
Client won't sign off on solution, because optional feature 1 and 4 aren't implemented. Yet.
Cuz those optional features are more important than a functional website! Until, right before launch, they find more things that "need to fixed"
and then this last one
while (true) {
println("no")
}
“FaSt FoLlOw”
Or, what I actually prefer to do when possible:
Let’s split this into a couple tasks/stories/whatever. We can get you 80% of this in a day or two with existing code/features, keep our target date, and prioritize the rest after that.
Never do fixed contracts 😀
We were supposed to go to production with this client back in March
We are still adding features to this application
We're supposed to go to production in a few days and we're still waiting for them to send us images and other feedback. For a month now!
Oof. This is gonna go real well.
