Not a decade, but 99% of these ex-FAANG influencers are very low level engineers that have very little experience and probably shouldn't be the ones giving advice to people starting their careers.
It's a lot easier to find solid advice online for students and Jr devs than for Sr+ devs.

There is less content for senior devs, but this audience can better select what content is good or not.
