You start as a front end dev, and then end up as a theoretical physicist I guess.
Windows is not below C.
I mean, it depends how you look at it. Windows are usually made of glass. Glass is made from rocks. Rocks are the world's slowest computer.
Nobody argues otherwise, so i will. Although winapi is best used in C, the binaries themselves weren't all written in C
C does not compile down to Windows.
Some parts of windows do not compile down to C too, dumbass (you can only COMPILE IT UP TO C FROM ASM). Also how do you compile anything down to windows?
Save your online testosterone for the real world, kid. The diagram says that, not me. You're the one disagreeing with me disagreeing with the diagram.
fair enough
I'm also a woman, I don't have that much testosterone
Dealing with this right now as I try to get used to coding shit that must be placed in a virtual machine on azure.
Why is setting up environments such a pain in the ass every single time.
for people who know how to code, C is a really good choice.
Every programmer’s life cycle. Start ambitious, end up needing more coffee than a human should consume 😂👻 #JustDevThings
Lol true I remember before college I used to only drink coffee like maybe once a day and never for energy purposes like in the morning to wake up. Then went through college and started drinking a cup in the morning just to wake up. Started working that turned into a cup in the morning and a cup in the afternoon many years later now it's a full blown problem. Easily 4 - 5 cups a day depending on the day and if I have access to my good coffee at home or if I'm drinking crappy coffee in the office just for the caffeine.
Ambition: 100%. Compiler errors: 101%. Coffee: infinite loop.
Try Odin. Or wait for Jai, maybe.
Day 21: I've started weaving my own magnetic core memory
Day 22: I've started soldering my own transistors with sand and hope.
Day 23: solid state physics was too much of a pain. I have started assembling my own vacuum tubes.
Day 24: I have constructed an iron forge to make my own gears
