Well, wearing a mask to help make sure your fellow Americans don't get sick and die is oppression. Wearing a mask to hide your identity while you snatch people off the streets and detain them without due process is patriotism/freedom. It makes perfect sense!

its because there is no "remedy" for this.
In a normal criminal case with police officers, if they violate your 4th amendment rights, then whatever evidence they found is suppressed. That is the remedy the system has.
But in immigration court, that doesn't matter. Oh they illegally detained you? Doesn't matter, your plane to South Sudan leaves in an hour.
The only "remedy" really available to discourage this behavior is 1983 civil rights lawsuits, which if you know anything about how impossible it is to win a 1983 case, you know that is also just an empty promise.
In short, there is absolutely nothing currently in place to discourage this behavior outside of the 2nd amendment.

You know why cops have to follow certain rules when they arrest you? Like read you your Miranda rights? Because the case could be tossed out if they don't. In this case, there will never be a trial so they do not need to follow any rules at all. None. Zero. This person will never be taken before a judge to plead his innocence.

There's nothing wrong with deporting someone who has been given due process. That is not what's happening here. This person will be deported without ever being allowed to plead his case.

To clear up the confusion: they dont have to follow any laws because this person will not stand trial or plead their case in court. They are being kidnapped and deported without any due process. They can break all the rules because they never will be in a court room having to justify the arrest.

Cops would either be complicit and assisting ICE (most likely), or overruled since ICE is federal and cops are either state or local level.

No there haven't been any fruitful lawsuits (that I've seen) about the immigration enforcement on the ground this administration.
Some lawsuits about DHS policies and specific high profile cases yes, but not about daily procedures about detaining and deporting people.
If you're asking if this is legal, it seems yes because he was pulled over by CBP (border control). If you are a U.S. Citizen you don't have to give any ID to border patrol, but otherwise you do (or risk being arrested). This is why when they asked the guy filming if he is a citizen he said yes, and they didn't take him out of the car.
It's a gray area because the driver didn't say yes or no (in the video, unclear what happened prior to the video). So then that goes to whether the agent believes he's not a citizen based on all of the other facts. I believe since the other guy identified himself as a citizen but couldn't identify the driver as one that's enough probable cause (but I'm not an expert in this area to say for sure)
The CBP people would have to have reasonable suspicion to stop this car and ask him for ID. Reasonable suspicion is a very low bar.

It's so utterly and incredibly bizarre to have masked men taking people away, criminal or not. It's unbelievable that the US stands for that. Un-fucking-believable. I try to get into the headspace of people like this, how could I do this to another human being. It's hard not to think of them as a cult, rejected by their loved ones, but accepted by those that fall under the banner. They found brotherhood to fill the gaps where they ought to have a family. Told what is good and right and given the ultimate solution. Obviously this take is myopic, but it's nothing new.
These are the same types who sent people to gas chambers. There are always always always huge numbers of these exact types living in our societies. Usually they are restrained by laws, but occasionally, like now, they are set free to do what they want.
I think it's a combination. There's a percentage that takes these jobs because they want to be able to abuse people with impunity. There's another percentage that took the job because they needed one, but once they saw that this is acceptable behavior that won't be punished, they came to relish it. Another chunk hates it but goes along out of cowardice, and another that doesn't participate in it but also doesn't quit or speak out.
Then you have the tiniest percentage: the ones who see it's wrong, quit, and blow the whistle. They're the only ones I respect.
