Steam workshop list is different

I was recently looking for a collection of mods on Left 4 Dead 2. My friend told me I could find it by sorting by 'most popular of all time.' However, our feeds show completely different results, even for other workshop-related content. For example, when I look at the most subscribed mods for MCC, my top result is some random mod called 'Bio Halo,' but when I Google the workshop, it shows 'Cursed Halo' as the top mod. Is this something I caused, or is this normal behavior for Steam Workshop
