Isn't this also a Licensing issue? EA no longer has the rights to use FIFA and that's why they've switched to FC? I don't know what SKG's plan is with such issues.

Yup youāre right this is mostly a licensing issue. I actually think ea is better than most game companies with delisting and shutting down servers. But it remains to see with need for speed 2015 and anthem. I wonder if thereās even enough interest for anthem that modders emulate servers

SKG wouldn't apply here IMO because game is delisted because of licensing issues and it's still fully playable if you own it, to my knowledge.
I also think this is the main point of the movement, in this case sure I don't care take away online features but still keep the game playable.

Yep, even if there's online elements. At worst the developpers will add an option for peoples to make custom servers for themselves, or add a Lan option.

Yeah... It's more about keeping the games you bought playable after the company decides to abandon it. When it comes to delisting, you can still play the game.

The other day, Steam told me that Metal Gear Solid delta, was no longer available and had been removed from Steam.
It's not even out for another month.
Comically large flashy steam banner for a "BIG PUBLISHER SALE!". You click it. And the entire page is a black screen with the sale banner on top, because the said publisher banned all their games in your region. Yes, I will keep falling for this every damn time.

I hate it so much because I live in a country where many publishers have left and Steam keeps advertising games that I can't buy. And Steam won't let me go to the page of a game I already bought because it's not available in my country.
