Hopefully he recovered and learned to feel pain again.
Why was I programmed to feel pain?! 🔥
I legitimately just watched this episode.
take me out to the ballgame
take me out to the baaaaall-la
Brrrrp brrrrp brrrp
Sooo… what’s new Grimey?
Oh a five-THIRTEEN!
One of my favorite random explosions.
Grain elevator and silo explosions are a real thing; they’re caused by huge amounts of grain dust in the air being ignited, which causes all of the dust to immolate very, very quickly, like a thermobaric bomb.
Mythbusters did this in one of their episodes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2jeQt5Yjew big fireball.
That sounded like a silo tipping over!
That silo had some powerful friends.
Oh you’ll pay, don’t think you won’t pay
Can’t spell silo without Lois….shit, wait, wrong cartoon, sorry.
All good...just gimme some of that Franny Fanny!!
It’s funny how he’s running to it.
My silage!
"Change the channel, Marge!"
“That’s our Homah!”
He survived that, but didn’t survive getting electrocuted?
Or Grimey as he liked to be called
Change the channel, Marge!
I hope none of the Silo Shrapnel got in Lenny's eye.
Which, if true, means death for us all
"I told ya, we just grow SORGHUM here." "Uh-huh, and where's the silo?" "'Round back. Oops..."
After he taught himself to fell pain and taste food again.
The falling shoe is a nice touch 😆
Why is he running to the silo? Why does it explode? Who’s filming this? God I love these jokes!
Why does it explode?
Silo explosions are somewhat common:
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=silo+explosion
Basically, tiny particles of grain saturate the air and can explode if there's a spark.
I was at work laughing to myself about this scene earlier...
Love dropping in to this reddit.
Why does he run towards it?
Why?
Grimey, as he liked to be called.
For being catastrophically unlucky, Frank was quite lucky to get his own news segment and happen to have Mr. Burns watching and demand that he be hired as executive vice president.
A veritable orgasm of poor planning:/
Really good of the news to obtain footage of the worst, most consequential moments of Ol Grimey's life....
This is the most underrated line in the Frank Grimes episode. No one has ever recognized where it is from when I say it.
Oh no the corn! Paul Newmans gonna have my legs broke
Poor guy.
Idk about silos but grain explosions are a real thing. Also sugar production and sawmills. Any time you have a certain concentration of dust in the air it can create a rapid chain reaction of ignition of the dust.
The news had actual footage or just paid some actors to reenact a child's parents abandoning him
You, survived silo explosion, you?
Why does the news have footage of that?
Maybe it was the same computer simulation technology they used to show what it would look like if Homer was gunned down by the police.
It had better be.......cuz if its not!
A bloody end, for Homer Simpson.
…is just one of several possible outcomes according to our computer simulation. Now, here's how it would look if the police killed him with a barrage of baseballs.
Dramatization. May not have happened.
NO, Mr Grimes, don't run into that silo!! No, Mr Grimes, NOOOOOO!!!!!
Her sweet sweet sw-sw-sweet corn
Aww, the corn! Paul Newman’s gonna have my legs broke.
Like the footage of his parents abandoning him 😂
and him delvering toys to more fortunate children
B-roll from the disastrous Radioactive Man film shoot in Springfield
Jimminy jillikers!
We re shutting down production
There's err uhh leaving town tax
My eyes! The goggles do nothing.
A wizard did it
How’s it keep up with the news like that?!
Don't praise the machine!
Surveillance video is the most logical explanation - perhaps there were people stealing from the silo.
More plausible than the film of his parents abandoning him.
For 40 years Abe Simpson was a night watchman at a cranberry silo. Then he was replaced by a camera-matic, and the silo exploded.
....wow
It’s to keep track of all dem sex hookers ‘round back
…This exhibit is closed!
It was the olden days!
because the dude sucked
