Israel is the pawn in the chess game. Send them out to get sacrificed. Pretty much the entirety of the Middle East hates America (and let’s not pretend it is because we support Israel). They sponsor the terrorist that launch thousands of rockets and bombs at Israel every year. If they get their wish and wipe Israel off the map, they will turn their focus to us.
You have to remember in the Bible Israel has major significance and that’s half of the reason. I support both Israel and Palestine for those who aren’t affiliated with terrorism or terrorist groups. Israel from a religion perspective, and then Palestine because I don’t believe war will solve any problems and everyone deserves to be free and to live their life to the fullest and not be oppressed, but there has to be a point where everyone comes to an agreement to get along and stop fighting but respect each others differences.

Israel unilaterally left the strip in 2005, allowing the Palestinians to govern themselves. They elected Hamas who then literally publicly executed the rival political party (Fatah, the ones who rep Palestine at the UN) in the streets. They haven’t held elections in 20 years and have fired tens of thousands of rockets indiscriminately into Israel, and done suicide bombings that have killed over a thousand people. That’s fighting occupation? Suicide bombings? Hijacking’s planes and Olympic athletes? I could think of a number of things Hamas could have done better lol

Edit: Read up on Bush's cousin Abe Lincoln who passed the emancipation proclamation as a war effort and wasn't recognized as a candidate in the south. The war was not centralized around the morality of slavery, land owners in the south didn't want wealthy business men to tell them how to farm and tax them. Now we've done a demented 180 to the farmers ignorantly following a business man to higher taxation. It's called dystopia, and we're gobbling it up.
