2004 chevy silverado 1500 z71

I just bought this as my first truck. I love it so far but the guy before me installed a rough country leveling kit and shocks. When i hit speed bumps the truck bounces and i can feel it if i drive over a pea. Ive been looking at replacement shocks but i know nothing about them. Ive seen everyone recommending the bilstein 4600 or 5100. Does anyone have any other shock recommendations? The most off roading I will be doing will be gravel roads and driving on snow so should i use something softer since people say the bilstein 5100s are stiff because i mostly want a smooth ride. Im aiming more towards the bilstein 4600 because they are cheaper but they are meant for stock ride height, can i use the 4600s with a leveling kit? Could i lift the truck more in the future or is that not possible with the 4600s. Im very new to this and know nothing about suspensions so any help/guidance would be very appreciated
