Dude, I was getting my bowl so I could eat it properly!
Honestly is the Corgi just that well-versed in etiquette or well trained?
Rare to see a corgi trained like that, this is impressive.
They like patterns. Mine wont eat until i go through the routine of making her sit, spin, lay down ect. and she gets frustrated if i dont go through the steps. She has to walk on certain curbs if we walk a certain route and visit certain landmarks around the neighborhood. If dogs could be autistic, they would be corgis
"Wow your dog is so well trained!"
"Nah, he's just autistic"
The difference is whether you wanted the pattern and trained them,
or they want that pattern and trained you
“It is what it is… and it’s autism.”
Puppytism
I have an autistic cat like that, and if i break routine is the end of the world and she runs and hides.
I have to greet her at the door in my bedroom where she is waiting, she follows me to the bathroom where I brush my teeth. We then walk to the food bowl where she waits to be scratched, then she will eat, i then exit the kitchen to the garage.
God forbid i forget to brush my teeth and go straight to the kitchen. She won't eat. If I don't scratch her, she just stares at me and won't eat. If i forget my keys and come back inside? All hell broken loose and it's terror speed running and my house.

Ahahahahaaaa yesss

Oh lol
wtf happened to this cats ancestors that breaking routine has it runnin terror lol
What the hell happened to our ancestors that trains are so interesting.
She was a rescue that was full of fleas and very malnourished. I had to bottle feed her and i honestly didn't think she would make it. But now she is nice and plumpy with an amazing coat. She probably lost a few brain cells though.
When she does that cat bread, he does it backwards. She will press her but on you and bread away from you. She is very special.
I had a little malnourished kitten who also grew up to be weird AF. Cutest thing on the planet but seems to have no idea she's a cat. Super uncoordinated and very judgmental.
We say that about my mini schnauzer who really, really loves his routine.
Or English bull terrier.
My corg will just sit and stare at his food unless I threaten to fake eat it and then he gets all high and mighty "like how could you do that!" they are super funny bizarre dogs.
mine will not want to eat his kibble at the moment, but he will randomly fiercely guard it from anyone including the cats. he will do a full on sleep right beside it and bark at the cats for walking by, then he'll get tired of guarding it and go off in another room to get a more restful sleep.
My folks have got a pitsky who has what we call her 'routine' she has to do every time she goes outside. She wasn't taught it. She just started doing it on her own and cries if one of us tries to just put her collar and leash on real quick. She has to trot down the hallway towards the bedroom, turn around, faster trots back up the hallway with her tail wagging and butt wiggling, then has to do a quick turn around at the end of the hallway so she is facing the direction she came from and raises her head and waits for her to collar to be put on. If we are not standing in the right spot and facing the right direction to put her collar on and say, "There's my good girl," she will get irritated and have to start over again.
What really makes me laugh is that my folks got a husky puppy who just turned 2 in April, and the pitsky is 7, and they've had her for just over 5 years, so her routine is well-established. As the husky grew, he didn't really understand what was going on with the pitsky doing her routine and seemed to think he was supposed to do something silly before walking. He just wasn't sure what. He started with turning away from us when we would go to put his collar on and then weave himself around the chairs under the dining room table, turn away from us to go walk in a circle in the kitchen and come back. Then he switched to going to the kitchen first, then running by us to the bedroom where he would wait for us to come back and play a game of chase JUST in the bedroom before he would stand in front of his bed and box fan to have his collar put on. Watching him try to figure out his own little routine while seeming unsure about what he was supposed to do was just funny.
As an added funny, we were also telling him he could do his 'routine,' and the pitsky was getting pissy at us about it. She would grumble and do her little backtalk every time we said it to him, so now she has her 'routine,' and the husky, named Bear Booski, has what my mother dubbed his 'booski business.' When it's time to walk, he has to go to a specific spot at the edge of the living room, do a pre-walk scratch, walk down the hallway and into the bedroom, turn around and walk to the breezeway door in the hallway and wait for his collar and harness to be put on. If you are already in the hallway waiting for him when he starts, you have to lean against the wall and let him walk by you and turn around or he will refuse to let you put his collar on. He has to be turned around at the door to go out, facing the end od the hall where the kennel is, and then he will stand and wait to have his collar and harness hooked on. While putting on the harness, we have to say, "Time to wrap up the pupper."
Dogs are such creatures of habit. The only time either of these two will skip their routine/booski business is if they REALLY need to go. Then the pitski will slip her hallway run and walk right to the kennel to have her collar put on before hurriedly trotting to the breezeway door. The husky will go right to the door, bark, then wait for us to come do the collar and harness and get him outside.
Edit:
“The world will end if I don’t spin three times, walk the hallway twice and… to hell with it, I’ve got to shit.”
Dogs are wolves with a hereditary trait that is analogous with autism in humans
Not sure how up to date this is but I've seen it been compared to what in humans would be called Williams syndrome, and I think they tested Labradors.
is that the condition where people are naturally overly trusting and friendly?
Yep, tho dogs don't have the gene deletion like Williams syndrome, dogs just have mutations in those genes. So similar but not the same.
i think i saw a short docu about that syndrome once and they also drew a parallel that something like this might be what we selected in dogs. very very interesting
Just FYI and everyone else's, autism in humans is a neurodevelopmental condition. Williams syndrome is a genetic condition. The two are very distinct but have overlapping qualities.
Well you see, it's staged. The music is there and the actual audio of the human telling the pup to get their bowl is removed.
Also there is a cut as the chopsticks are pulled, empty, out of the trash. The shot of the corg leaving and the shot of the corg returning with bowl aren’t the same shot.
Never met a dog who gave a shit the food was in the trash anyway so who cares regardless
It's also a completely empty trash bag, so they can just remove it.
They could very well have told it to fetch it and staged the whole thing
Honest it’s probably just a weird quirk of the dog, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a corgi trained like that.
I love seeing the weird little habits some people's dogs form because of accidental reinforcements, like my boy will wipe his face clean after he has food because I used to use a micro fiber clothe to clean dirt off his face as a puppy so he's learned that his face being "dirty" means he needs to wipe it on my mums furniture.. or bed sheets
I have one for you:
I had a dog that when she was a puppy we’d try to teach her that when certain people came home, it was okay (she was a rescue) also distract her from trying to bolt out the door, so we’d give her squeaky toys, which she loved. Well, I guess she thought it meant she had to bring them to the door when we came home, so as soon as she heard the door start to unlock she’d run around trying to find her nearest toy to hold in her mouth as she greeted us. Sometimes she couldn’t find one in time, so she’d grab whatever was closest, sometimes it was a shoe sometimes it was a pillow, but she made damn sure she had something!
Are you kidding me? The whole thing filmed start to finish with the original audio edited out… no this isn’t some quirk it’s a trained dog being used for social media content by the owners..
It's a skit
The dog is trained for the exact order of events in this video. Just for the video…
Or there are commands like "get bowl" and "bark" that the owner can give in any order they please.
Two different shots put together. You can see the cut as the chopsticks come, empty, out of the trashcan.
There was a camera cut right after they put the meat in the garbage can
I'm not just going to eat off the floor like some common bitch!
My parents always had dogs and their number 1 rule was no hand to mouth feeding, it goes in the bowl. The only dog who got annoying begging was the last one, and that's because my special needs nephew was a tornado with eating, and sooo much food ended up on the floor
I’m not an animal!
Why is there music, I want to hear the dog!
So you don't hear the owner giving the command to bring the bowl and bark
They made a whole subreddit for everything I hate about ticktok
Happy cake day
Thanks!
I refuse to go to that subreddit. I love my ears
What?
Thank you for your service.
What?
Because as cute as it is, it is staged. Happens with all dog videos with music basically
How does it being "staged" apply to someone removing the original audio and putting shitty music over it? The dog is clearly still barking.
Obviously it's trained, but I'd rather hear the sketch as intended than this terrible version. TV shows are staged, I still want to hear the dialogue
Edit: Found a couple versions with sound, but also the stupid fucking TikTok voices narrating the whole thing.
you won't hear a sketch, you'd just hear a command like 'get your bowl' and it wouldn't be as funny
which is why i just watch everything on mute
Not to mention the monster cut while the camera is in the garbage, the beginning and end of this video could be a week apart for all we know.
So you don't hear the human coaching the dog through everything.
Seems plausible. Every other version I can find is just a different song.
TV shows are staged
The big difference between that and this is this is trying to play it off as a real where TV shows you know from the get-go are staged.
And before someone comes at me saying you can appreciate them the same, part of the wow factor on homemade videos is the fact that it's happening organically where when things are set up it needs to be so much bigger to garner the same wow factor.
It’s like when dogs do crazy tricks due to “context” or “written” triggers but you can see the dogs eyes clearly watching someone off camera giving the actual commands. It’s often actually a good video either way (like this one) but other times it’s totally relying on the false premise. Like we know your dog can’t read flash cards homie you are signaling the commands behind the camera.
It's not staged, it's a skit. Staged implies deception, this is just a joke. You aren't MEANT to think this is a natural situation.
I don't know how any of you watched it. It was so bad.
I mean really, how am I supposed to know how to react without someone's head in frame, laughing or nodding or smiling or pointing at it or something.
Would be far better without the dumb music…
And the 🤣🤣🤣🤣 emojis.
HEY EVERYONE THIS VIDEO IS FUNNY! I'M GOING TO LET YOU KNOW THAT IT'S FUNNY IN ADVANCE BECAUSE I DON'T TRUST YOU TO FIGURE OUT THAT IT'S FUNNY ON YOUR OWN!
Holy shit, this is probably the funniest comment I've ever read.
Here you go. That one had 56 laughing faces. This one has 57 so it should be the new funniest comment you have ever read
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣…🤣
OMG stop, my sides hurt from how hilarious your comment is
Only legends with good mene knlewedge will get it 🤣🤣😆🤭😝😜
I'm uploading it to ifunny right now!!!
The treachery... the betrayal! You simply cannot make ts up
Actually, you probably can.
Lmao they did tho. Did you not notice the cuts?
Have you never heard anyone be sarcastic or tell a joke?
Yo, you best be giving him another piece and another for the inconvenience. On behalf of all of us do it immediately
Our dog does that sneezing thing too! My wife calls them scoffs but I think they're just a way to call our attention
Dogs sneeze when they are playing
my huge lab-rott mix always gets all sneezy when it's time for a walk, or when people come home. He just gets too excited.
Mine does this too (Miniature Pinscher). It's definitely to communicate "I'm frustrated with you."
She does this when she wants us to get up and do something for her but we pretend to ignore her.
It's different from an actual sneeze, it sounds more like a snort.
My little girl is a Cavichon. She is well trained and super polite, so, 'begging' for her is to sit in a cute posture but every once in a while she'll do this, especially if she hears our forks scraping the plate (almost done!), like she's saying, 'ahem! I'm down here, looking cute. Don't forget me!'
I feel bad for doggo. Give that good boy a piece!
Ones man’s trash is another man’s treasure 🤣
That right there isn't a man. It's a gentleman.
Technically it was not "in" the garbage. it was above it. Hovering.
adjacent to trash is trash
Corgis came into existence just to mend broken hearts
Mine's close to going out again and it might cause me to end up worse than he found me
oh dude, so sorry to hear that
Mine certainly has mended mine more times than I can count
Dude, this is literally war crime
What a genteman
Fluff you
How I feel every time my wife throws away the last 5 day old piece of cake when im not home.
People who have overweight pets should be banned to have any animals. This is so low level behaviour to even let dog get that fat.
Don't give dogs and cats human food unless they're starving. Their kidneys can't handle the salt content of human food, will be damaged and you will cause their lives to shorten and you may cause them to suffer at the end of their lives.
Wait. why tf would you pick up food from the floor with the same chopsticks you’re going to use for eating? 😅
But it doesn't touch the floor or the food part that touched the floor
I would have chomped down on that piece anyway. Like I care it fell to the floor, I live like a swine anyway lol
He even looked back like "aye one sec"
rehearsed for the video
Yeah it’s fine because that is a fresh new bin bag set up just for this video
That poor proper baby 🥺
That little guy definitely gave him the Corgi Eye.
ah i would feel shit if i'd experienced this 😂😂
First time seeing a dog scolding someone.
The betrayal is real.
You idiot huuuman wtf did you do
Food in the trash doesnt stop dogs from digging in.
That was certainly unexpected
I'm more mad he didn't just eat it off the floor and threw it in the trash. Even if it's staged I would be all over that lol 😆
Muted
Corgis don’t really hold back when they think that you are an idiot
YOU GIVE THAT PUPPY SOME SNACKS RIGHT NOW
In a just world, people that make "I'm gonna mess with my pet for clout durr hurr" videos would be imprisoned.
Why did this honestly broke my heart
I feel so bad for him🤣 If I were him I would’ve just taken that from the garbage
I don't even think my dog would let it hit the floor, he'd be all over it in a split second.
People always asking me "Why is your dog so good with kids?" ...because they drop food literally all the time, he's no dummy.
Poor thing was trying to eat like gentle boy!
Love the plot twist 😂😂😂
omg he's so cute, I want one.
Ah, come on, you know Ein is smarter than that! Doesn't get the credit he deserves.... lil cutie
I'm convinced that every video shorts with music makes everything worse.
Lol 😆
He was gonna give that dog dirty chicken anyway
Dog: "You'd better GET me that chicken, you sonofabitch!"
Dog is clearly saying "wtf?"
The betrayal!!! Give doggie all the treats xxx
What is this dumb music….
Good thing the camera was rolling
Not ungrateful, just well trained. "Judge nothing before it's time" personified in a pup. 🤣🤣🤣
Holy cow what a well-trained dog. I can't even get my cat to use their paws to lift a cup and drink like a normal person.
Clearly setup because any corgi owner would know this breed will never turn down food!!
Actually I was watching this without sound. Lucky me
How dare thee
This was great. Would have been funnier without the music though.
I assure you, hearing the dog barking is preferable to listening to your shitty background music.
How can someone betray a corgi ?
The eyes as the corgi looks up and spotting it cant reach the bottom of the bin! Give it the whole meal
Valid crash out.. L human.
Good doggo
The thing about animals is they’re not humans. We can speak, but not in their language.
With a labrador, the treat wouldn't even hit the floor in the first place
That was cruel
Did you really expect him to eat off the floor?
loooks jummi
Total crap short. No barking, but music instead? Crap
Corgi was trying to be a good boi ♥️. Hooman dint get it 🥲
Stop upvoting videos with shitty music on pretty please
« I am outa here » 🤣🤣🤣
yeah it's so much better without the sound and a random song instead
WHY, HE LOOKS SO SAD, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT
Better tragedy than Macbeth
I miss my dog so much 😭.
Aww
Oh noo, why??
The dog understood that? Dayum. I am always fascinated by how smart dogs are.
Dog: Dude I went to look for a plate & you tossed it in the trash can. Wait, you expected me to eat from the floor like a savage‽‽ What's wrong with you. Now give me piece.
Feed that dog right now and apologise
Now I want a Corgi
It's heart broke when it saw the chopsticks without the meat in it.
Lol
He went to bring his bowl 🥹
“Why’d you put it in there? That’s where bad stuff goes. If you put it in here, I’ll eat it.” -Jack Russell
Aw.
Master you're the one who taught me to eat in a bowl like wtf
Can translate what the dog say: „Why did you throw away my food?! Just wanted to get my bowl..“
what is this weird stuff?
It's so cute
He better give him the whole dish!
That's so sad! Go get him a whole dinner, I'm buying!
He just wanted to eat the food like a civilized doggo heheh
He basically has to give the corgi his entire dinner now, just to repent for his transgressions.
OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:
Master misunderstood his dog's intention
