Rematch solo queue experience
EXACTLY.
REAL AF
Hilarious! But it was a good plot to bring everyone back in and catch them out of position. Too bad keeper can’t do through balls but also these are tiny kids. Love the thinking and strategy
Klopp's deep pressing has made it all the way down to the youth levels it seems, lol.
One thing I didn't see much of was anyone coming in to give the kid a passing lane. I see two other blue shirts getting into open space, but going further out to do so thus reducing 10's viable passing opportunities. I would have liked to have seen one come in a bit. Left back has made himself essentially a non-factor as well. Could have been yelling at keeper to let him know he was there and open.
fkin ballhog boy had an open pass at the 3 second mark but was too busy showboating
Would have been 2 footed into oblivion when I was a kid. Games gone!
Is bro dancing or what
And thats why you dont fucking showboat
It looks like his team knows that once he has the ball he isn't giving it back
I mean, he passed it once in the ten seconds we saw him for
Well, he seems skilled but was easily pressured to go back. The kid didn't ever made the attempt to move or pass forward to the first mate. And, as said, it seems the other teammates know he's not passing the ball and did not further position themselves to receive a pass.
And why the goalkeeper tried passing the ball back to him, when he had a player on his left with no opposition?
Kids like this one, that at first sight seem to be quite skilled, can easily destroy a team.
Definitely - there's no point to this fancy footwork if it doesn't achieve anything. Looks nice, but he can't get past his opponent and he doesn't pass forward. He's just dribbled himself into his own half.
And why the goalkeeper tried passing the ball back to him
It looked like he was passing it downfield to someone else, there was just someone from the other team in the way
Yep my bad, that's his goalie
To be fair we just saw the results of him passing it to his teammate, I would probably try to solo carry the game too if every time I passed the ball our team fell farther behind.
This isn't a sport for this kind of thinking, if someone feels is much better than the other mates and wants to play all by itself, he'd better play tennis.
showboating is fine now and then, but you don't just dribble all the way back to your back line and then pass it to your goalie with 2 defenders right there or you're just creating problems. Much better to just try beating the other kid at the start - if you lose it you've got time and space to recover.
I also noticed his very first move actually faked out the kid and instead of taking the space he did the same move to go backward and let the defender recover... kid seemed pretty young though so still good for his age.
Exactly that. And if this is not corrected on time, when he grows up nobody would want him on any team, it's a recipe for disaster. He broke the defender and let him recover just for the show business.
I don't see the immediate issue with it. Good trapping and put the defender off pretty quickly. If his teammate moved to the right a bit faster, there would have been a good passing lane, but unfortunately he sort of jogged over and moved further away, leaving 10's only option to pull back and pull the defense with him.
Teammate: Stop dancing! Pass the damn ball NOW!!!
so slick, dance back to your goal and put it right in the middle.
We had such a guy in class. When we played football in sport class, if he got the ball he literally around the field than pass and try to shoot on the goal but miss mostly.
10/10 tactics, 1/10 strategy
The average Rocket League player who spends way too much time in free play and doesn't spend enough time developing situational awareness.
Belongs in a circus
I am not that familiar with soccer, but shouldn't the goalie grab the ball or at least kick it away real hard?
If a teammate passes the ball to the goalkeeper, the goalkeeper is not allowed to pick it up with their hands.
Today I learned something about football!
Except when passing with head or chest, then it is allowed for the goalkeeper to take the ball in hands
Except for headers. Those can be picked up by hand.
I should clarify, the header has to be a "non-deliberate back pass".
That goalie is every rocket league random teammate competitive mode.
But he's properly in bronze. The dribbler is in champ on his main but here in bronze on his alt, trying to freestyle for internet clout or something, and put his teammate in a bad position despite having an immediate non-showboat opening to advance the ball after taking possession.
Oh, how I felt this.
It shows that no matter how big of a star you are, if you are in a bad team, you will still lose
All that skill was completely useless so not sure if he is a star
Nah all his skill was pointless. He had every player on his team waiting for him to pass. Could have even made a forward pass down the line in the beginning of the clip.
Instead he decides to dance to his own corner, and pass to his keeper. Sure keeper could have made a better pass, but why even get that far?
The defence easily pressured him to pass to his goalkeeper and force the goal, which definitely shows that there is no star in front of us. It's a team sport after all...
Should have just dribbled all the way into the goal. Might as well
Decent talent
Undeveloped football iq
He had been moving in wrong direction...
I tried so hard & got so far
but in the end, it didn't really matter
The last ballbender
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣💀
This made me so happy lol
Kid hasn't unlocked his ego yet
Thanks bruv..
Half way through that I was thinking I’d just punch the kid and take the ball, but this is a much better outcome.
More funny than unexpected
So much skill to move the ball backward. He is the bad one!
There is always an Asian kid that can do better
A kid this is a team game pass the ball you idiot.
Everybody wants to be Ronaldo; most are Ronald McDonald
Excellent technique but with such pressure he should never play it back to the keeper, it's far too risky. In stead of show boating he should have moved the ball forward or to the side. A teammate moved forward at 0:04 and he should have played the ball to him.
His own goalie gave away the point
Where was his team?
Waiting for him to pass the fucking ball.
OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:
Kid dribbles and shows amazing skills, but then he passes back to his goalkeeper who makes a mistake allowing the opposing team to score
