What is this doll thing? I keep seeing it on different subreddits but I’m so lost on what the hell it is.
It’s the troll/furby of this generation.
You know all those must have toys that kids wanted when we was younger but went out of fashion the year after? Just one of those.
I just had this conversation with my girlfriend so here you go. Labubu dolls are collectible dolls that you buy as mystery boxes. They’re basically gatcha-pon but for weird little dolls.
They come in different “collections” that range in price from ~$60 to ~$100 unopened. The dolls themselves have a wide range in terms of value, with rarer Labubus being worth more in the secondary market.
That’s all I know.
