When I was 7 I couldn't fall asleep from excitement because the following day me and my dad were picking up my mum and little sister from hospital. So I'm or running around or laying in bed fidgeting and my dad is cooking eggs. He tried to put me asleep and mission failed successfully- we were both sleeping. And then eggs exploded. Needless to say my newborn sister hated the smell.

I was boiling them, and forgot about it these are the eggs in a separate tray
Ahh... I was about say "doing it that way, there's no correct amount of time to leave them on the stove".
Still nuts that they burn like that underwater. Unless it completely evaporated, at which point... yes, you left them there a bit too long:P
It was at the point that salt was starting to burn , so yeah I left them a long time
