The World Bank even has an unique model for each Civ if I saw that right, because my recent win looked differently

The world bank isn't a building. It just shows a close up of your capital (so yes it looks different for each civ)

In all my games if the World's Fair is under construction and you achieve any other win condition, the victory screen is a close up of the fair. Most of my World Bank victories have been a close up of a construction site.

I like how the science victory is just hiding in the background, waiting as a backup.

I could have actually popped the bank decades earlier but was waiting on the satellite to uncover the whole map

TIL the satellite uncovers the map. I just always have vision everywhere long before that point (missionaries ftw)

Indeed! It's been that way since Civ 5 at least, maybe earlier versions as well.

I almost always throw up a satellite regardless of which victory I'm doing just to uncover the map (there are usually a few ocean tiles or whatever hanging out I've missed)

I have this same run going right now on Immortal with a Pangea map, and it’s convinced me either Tecumseh is wildly overpowered or the Pangea map needs some work. There are just so many city states to work with when there isn’t a whole continental separation.

Just got into Modern and ended Exploration with like 75k gold in the bank, pulling almost 3k per turn, and made it through two future techs and a future civic before the age ended. Stacking his city state bonuses on top of the “per city state” bonuses from becoming suzerain is absurd and I love it.

Wars were very rare outside of Antiquity unless I allied with someone already being beaten down, and even then the sheer amount of gold I could throw out meant buying entire armies in a turn.

Part of it is getting both 50% discount on befriend independent abilities (1 diplomatic point and 1 policy), once you have those the AI definitely can't keep up, but even before that it seems like the AI tends to prioritize endeavors over befriending independents.

I see a lot of civs grabbing 1 or 2, but I as the player seem to be the only one grabbing every one I can globally.
