Class restrictions on RF Dungeon Gear?
Lucky enough to get this to drop in a dungeon and won the greed roll. I'm a WW monk, why I can't use this version but I can use the heroic version? Seems like an oversight IMO.

Yeah monks didn’t go live until MOP launch, we got a pre patch with them. Probably an oversight

Can’t use NoKaled, but can use Titankh, Maw, and Kirk as monks. It’s an oversight that hopefully will be changed.
It will probably not be changed and it is honestly whatever. Prepatch is done in 1.5 weeks anyway, and you can just play the staff.
Weird because that's the prot warrior offensive bis according to wowhead but I guess I wouldn't be able to roll on it

The class restrictions. They were added to LFR gear when it was from a raid in original Cata. Now that we get it from dungeons it's not really needed.
OH I thought you meant "it's a relic" as in the relic item slot for druids and shit lol
And yeah, seems to be an oversight on blizzard's part at the moment

It's still needed. Sadly it doesn't actually prevent you from rolling need on it.
Is LFR live? How do I access it? I don’t see it in the dungeons / raids tab
There is no, and won't be a LFR. These items come from heroic+ dungeons

It's annoying cause No'Kaled in cata was a great prot pally 1h'er. It did like 1k dps. I got a 403 on my Pally and used it until prepatch.
Raid Finder No'kaled was not added to Monks until Patch 6.0.2.
The other items in Dragon Soul were added to them during MoP.

Shit like this is why I feel like they just added a couple lines of code to break legacy set bonuses but largely just copy-pasted the old MoP prepatch.
Before prepatch we had nothing labeled “raid finder”. Also, incubus is gone. Also, all the gear that was updated to list all the races (a change they pushed through in tandem with Dragonflight launching to restrict Dracthyr from wearing non-Dracthyr pieces) no longer lists any races.
It’s like most of the modern changes were rolled back and they shoved this in.

It's made that ways so people don't roll on items that are not good for them. Monk was not taken into consideration when this launched with DS raid.
Except they added Monk to Kiril (2H staff). They did a pass on the class restrictions prior to prepatch launch.
Yeah but that's the best weapon for WW Monks? I get the restrictions but Monk got added to a bunch of items from dungeons except for this. The polearm, rings, etc... It just feels like they forgot to add Monk onto this one.
They 100% forgot, guess whoever was doing it isn't going to play WW monk in prepatch.
