Hey Guys! I recently started prepping to play a spacegoat shaman in TBC. It is the only expansion I never completed all the raids (due to being too young the first time around, and too old and busy the second time) so I am prepping hard to be the shaman of every raids dreams.
So far I have compiled the gear I want to get to level quick, enchants on them, all the items needed to max LW/ENCHANT/COOKING/FIRST AID, all the quest items that are non soulbound turn ins (green hills, EPL items etc). I have my bags ready to go and send over and I have a toon on another account waiting on the dock in auberdine to run over and deliver.
My two main point I am noticing as I am finishing up my gearing are
Just farm gold and buy boosts. Stockades>SM>Mara gets you into the 50's. Can buy bijous to turn in for 58-60 or go straight to hellfire peninsula.
I think with the TBC Pre patch it wasnt possible anymore to turn in the Bijous for EXP. Correct me if im wrong
not really positive on that one, but i do know you can start hellfire at level 58, so shouldnt matter much at that point.
Isn't boosting heavily nerfed in tbc due to aoe changes?
opposite really. Paladins become amazing boosters, but the classic boosts are still just as viable with mages. Still will be the fastest way to level 1-60
You could park mages at strategic locations to provide portals to the capital cities.
True, my goal is to limit to one other account so I can't really do warlocks but I could put mages in a lot of starting inns
