TBC was the 1st time I played WOW. I got the full experience from raiding with a guild and making progression till we downed Illidan and eventually got a glaive, that ultimately destroyed the guild(in classic wow fashion)
I am excited for TBC to return, think i am going to do Alliance this time though.
Is anyone else ready for TBC again? Are you doing anything new? Better? Or just keeping it the same?
Ill be looking for a guild to run with at some point. Doing panda stuff for the next month but then Ill be on the Path to Outlands.
I was introduced to this game during the end of tbc at age 10. Was too young to fully grasp the game but it made a huge impact on me. had to stop playing right after wrath came out but when tbc classic was announced, I suddenly dropped everything. Downloaded the game and made sure I was there when the dark portal opened. Sadly, though, i learned how to play very very slowly and took my time exploring the world and casually making friends. I didn't even get into raiding till the last 3 months of the expansion. When I figured out the proper path people would take at endgame, wrath prepatch dropped and I felt like I missed my opportunity to fully play the expansion again. I played wrath to the fullest but I didn't get my fill of tbc and it coming back around has been really exciting for me and I'm glad to have another chance.
Played OG tbc but i only semi raided as both druid and pala. Managed to get some great memories, raidleading maggy+grull+kara, downing SSC, TK, BT - even wiping on sunwell trash was epic (now atleast). Got my first child when classic tbc was around so i cleared kara and that was it, didnt have the time.
So this time around i will continue my era journey on my Warlock and bring a druid back into the mix. Raiding as a top DPS as warlock with the guild and doing pugs as either tank or healer on the druid. I didnt complete Naxx before WOTLK so im doing it in era this time + all of the TBC content afterwards. Then my Classic journey is done. Atleast until classic+.
Hell yea!! Sounds like a good plan to me.
I might be a minority but I'm not interested in it, having played it on the original release and classic.
I say this while believing it is one of the most enjoyable expansions.
Maybe in another 15 years.
I would have said yes for TBC SoD in a heartbeat.
Still might be an option
So pumped for TBC.
Mop is literally a placeholder until then and dropping it the second TBC is out. One character, the boosted one and just raid loggin with the boys
It was a raid logging fest after P1 in 2021. Arena meta was super stale due to zero balancing done all expac and there wasn’t enough to do at end game for most people other than level alts and raid. If you’ve seen the raids, you’ve seen most of what tbc has to offer imo.
I’ll be in panda land personally.
This, alot of people will raid log tbc lol
I understand your hype for tbc but "new" things like mop are more interesting for me.
Especially because I never played og mop just shitty pservers.
I am also going to hit Panda hard for a few months. Iv never played it and Im seeing this “classic” run all the way through till they do whatever they are going to do with it. I have a shaman that has been through all expansions since the 1st vanilla version.
I'm pumped for TBC.
In 2019 I came back to play classic. Ended up making an Alliance (NE) hunter, and to my surprise a cool parsing guild recruited me and I ended up having a great time cleearing everything up to and including Naxx, got r12 in pvp (which was much more time consuming back then, but I enjoyed it), and basically had the all-around WoW classic experience in vanilla that I didn't have the first time around (when I mostly played guildless or in small leveling guilds).
Now I've switched to Horde, I'm leveling a 'lock to prepare for my belfadin. I'm stocking up everything I need for my future pally's needs through classic and into TBC (prof mats, money, bags, leveling gear, etc.). And I'm having fun doing it. Playing Horde this time, it's almost like a new game to me after all those hours as Alliance last time.
Back in the day, when I first play TBC, I never saw the raids (except later when I could farm them solo from future expansions, when I hugely outleveled them). I'm psyched to do them this time at level, big time.
