Did the designer really just think that red, white and blue in any order is synonymous with the American flag?
My local fair every year hangs flags of Texas, the USA, and... Thailand, up on the fence. So yes, they probably did think red+white+blue=USA
Here in Northern Ireland on the 12th of July, Ulster loyalists have mistakenly burned Italian flags on their bonfires, instead of the Irish tricolour.
I bet some Ivory Coast flags have also been burned in the process 🇨🇮😂

Yes, they do and the orange in the Irish tricolour actually represents their community.
Green symbolises the Irish nationalist/ Catholic community.
Orange represents the Ulster unionist/ Protestant community.
White symbolises the peace between them.
To the prankster at the flag factory in Thailand who threw in Thai flags to the most patriotic orders: you did well.

But they didn’t even put it in the right order.
This isn't just the designer. A whole workforce of individuals failed on this one.
Who specifically uses a white-blue-red flag when trying to represent the US?
At best you would put red on top, white in the middle, and blue on bottom. White is never on top unless you’re specifically alluding toward the only country with a white band on top of blue and red on their flag.

Update: Mauritania's flag was green and yellow from 1959-2017, then it was changed and red was added.
As an American, ima say yes. We fought a war against the British and winning the rights to those colors came with it. All these other folks just be copying us.

I know this is about it looking like a ru****n flag but why are Americans so obsessed with red white and blue acting like they are the only nation to have said colours when France, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, previously said orcs, the Dutch, Chile, Cuba and many more have the exact same colours. It's one of the things that's always baffled me about the tea ruining tax dodging ungrateful colonists.
