It's a garment designed to keep chest fat from flapping about. Both men and women have that fat, in a wide range with varying degrees. Women have spent years 'freeing' the nips and fighting for our right to go braless, perhaps it's time we shift towards making bras gender neutral.

I have heard about that and actually seen evidence of that too. I've noticed bigger people tend to have their pants rubbed a lot in the crotch area so there are holes and discoloration. What do you typically do to prevent that rubbing when running in shorts?

To answer your question though, I run on the treadmill twice a week as a warm up for my workout. My nipples are average in size and I have toned pecs but my tank top that is specifically designed for workouts does not move at all on my body. And since I don't have bigger boobs that bounce when I move then that also doesn't rub against my tank top. There is no movement. I'm sorry this upset so many of you. This wasn't meant to sound like I am some fitness model either because I am not otherwise I would've mentioned that. I merely mentioned that I am fit. Sorry for being honest lol.
