I personally girls make jokes about his probable large size, which just twisted the knife. Women know that myth is mostly just that. It’s no big deal if you’re average sized. engines are pretty much an air pump. the more air you can get into the engine and the more air that the engine can exhaust, the more powerful it is. sports cars tend to be louder because they have a large high flow exhaust.
however, nowadays, exhaust tech has gotten good enough that you can keep it relatively quiet while still getting a nice tone so its really a choice to be loud and obnoxious.
i love how a nice sports car sounds but i still don't drive mine like an asshole in a residential neighborhood. i upshift to keep the revs low. people who cruise around ripping their engine at 7k+ rpm while staying in a low gear are just douches who want to be loud to get attention.

I love to rev my engine and be loud, but I only do it away from residential areas. I also have exhaust cutouts so I have a stock exhaust most of the time, but have a straight pipe when I want it.
