I've had my eye on Banishers for a while, so it'll be nice to try it for "free".
Risk of Rain 2 is a great third person roguelike, if that's your cup of tea.
i have RoR2 on PC, but wouldnt mind playing on my PS5 as its plugged to a much larger screen lol

yea....temper your expectations though. The game is not good. It has some cuteness, but as a game, it's not a fun one.
I bought it for my kids and they lost interest in it pretty quick bc of some of the bugs and confusion on what the next tasks were.
My 6 year old nephew loved it. To each their own I guess, but it's certainly not a great game
Any game that says "video game" on the box is not gonna be good.

It’s interesting that Cyberpunk never came to Gamepass but is on PS+ I say that because the game had promotional deals with Xbox including a CP2077 Xbox One X

how does DLC work for games on a subscription basis?
Like is it just not included? Can I rent it seperately?
If you buy the dlc you can play it. But when the game leaves the subscription you can no longer play it.
I am assuming that you are talking about Phantom Liberty DLC for CP2077? If so, it's 1000% worth it. And just a heads up it's not end game DLC. It integrates into the main story and unlocks after a certain mission.
Usually not included but you can buy it. Can’t rent dlc outside of game sharing maybe

Cyberpunk 2077 is absolutely stellar. I highly recommend the Phantom Liberty DLC.

did they ever improve the Ps4 version of cyberpunk? i bought it for PS4 and it was such a poor experience i stopped playing and didn't touch it again until i got my PS5. WORLD of difference.

How does PS Plus work? Is it like Game Pass where new games get added to the library. Or are these games available to play only during that month?
ps plus has 3 tiers
essential lets you play games online and you get a few games each month which are available for that month only but if you've added them to your library, you can play whenever as long as you have the subscription.
extra has essential perks and has a game catalog where games are added every month but are available for a longer period of time. they do eventually leave but the time period is diff for every game. some leave within a few months and some are there for years.
premium/deluxe has all these and a classics catalog which has really old games from ps1/ps2/ps3. it also has game trials for some games though most are only 2 hours long,

Man, I had Cyberpunk and Bluey on Xbox but sold it a couple months ago. I was going to buy both this week as my daughter loves Bluey and I’ve been meaning to play through Cyberpunk again since release date.

There's value if you play a lot of games. That monthly sub is drastically less than buying even a couple of the included freebies, so long as you make use of it.
For my part, I cancelled my sub when Sony once again bumped up the price, so I no longer see the value in it compared to something like Gamepass. But the logic is sound.
To put it in perspective, my yearly cost is $160. Just about the cost of 2 games. My PS Plus library consists of over 1,000 games.
For me, the cost is offset by using a Playstation credit card. The points I earned from buying normal stuff like gas have earned me $305 into my PS account this year alone. So, it's basically free for me.
I let my GP subscription lapse. It's a lot more expensive with a smaller library. But it's perfect to reinstate it for a month or 2 when a specific game you want is on it Day One. Like the Indian Jones game was perfect. It's a short game that is really good, but you will only play once or twice. It might be worth the $20 rental (or $12 on Game Pass PC).

It's fine. It's a Visa through Comenity. I really only got it because they had an option for a Bloodborne Hunter graphic on it (which is sick, btw). The points were a bonus. It's something like 2% reward points on most stuff but 5% points for stuff you buy on PSN. Something like that. I just googled "Playstation Credit Card" and it still shows up. I just clicked the rewards button a couple of weeks ago and found out I had enough for $305 that could be added to my PSN wallet. Like, damn, ok.
Another one I use is an Amazon Prime Chase card for similar reasons. It basically has a similar reward system but with 5% on Amazon purchases. That gives a bit more flexibility than being limited to the PSN Store, but it also requires you to have a Prime account (and no Bloodborne Hunter graphic).
I don't recall what the interest rates are on these cards. They way I use them is to never exceed what I can afford and just pay them off 100% every month. That credit card debt can creep up on you quickly, so I avoid it.
thats my goal too- to pay it off each month. i use my debit card for everything and i figure i may as well put in on a credit card and pay it off in one lump sum each month. build credit. same dollars are being spent either way. AND take advantage of points.
i may look into both. the PlayStation one is appealing for extra wallet bux. i could use it for DLC's i never end up buying lol.

Hell yeah, that was exactly my thoughts when getting my original credit card back in the day. I paid everything on my debit card and then swapped to build credit. It's a smart move, man.
Ps plus can be shared via family share or whatever sony calls it. If you have a friend you can split the price.
In my case, it was really about the principle of it. Increasing the price while adding no new value really stunk to me. I'm a pretty simple person, if they threw one more game up alongside the price hike, I probably wouldn't have thought much of it.

Highly recommend Abiotic Factor if you enjoy survival crafting games. Its a mix of V rising and Valheim in a Half-Life setting with many metroidvania elements.
That combo sounds right up my alley. Definitely gonna check it out
