Why is silver surfer a girl?
Same as others, I'm speculating this is because the universe where the Fantastic Four will be coming from before entering the MCU won't be seen again in the immediate future, so they chose Shalla-Bal as the Silver Surfer in that universe to give Norrin Radd some character development in the MCU.

I feel you. There's been a constant stream of AI stuff so it's better to be vigilant. I mean at least you actually investigated rather than jump into conclusion. My wife and I did an Invincible and Atom Eve cosplay 2 years ago, which we reposted recently, and a lot of people just jumped to assume it's AI even though it was just a repost from 2 years ago when AI wasn't as convincing.
