Just internet doing its thing
Donging it's thing *
Redittors just want hapenis
You can't spell happiness without penis.
Mightily
Honestly it's just humans doing human things. We got dick drawings from pre history people in caves and the equivalent all through human history. Humans are just obsessed with cock.
Posting inappropriate shit and spamming ascii art are staples of the internet. Despite the advertiser friendly rules that are being enforced on most social media sites, some people continue their internet tradition wherever they can. Probably someone posted the first ascii image for whatever reason. Then people decided that it's a good image to spam and stick it to the advertisers.
Honestly i want to see it done because of advertisers. Its not really a problem these days, but the stupid limitations which are done to appease advertisers actually can be a problem, and nuisance at best.
Aways the among us with a huge cock
Ive got that on quick dial but for me it looks a bit wrong
Among Us doing Goatsee when?
Be the change you want to see in the world.
When....when does it look right?
Penis graffiti has been found on cave walls. Basically since humans have been able to draw, they have drawn penises.
𓂸
ASCIIng the important questions
Because fuck 'em, that's why.
Why are the houses always colonials and the penises always circumcised?
And the guy who is legally allowed to post Walter white
Always has been
Came here for this, left satisfied. Coincidentally that's also what she said.
One would hope so. Or not. Whatever floats ye olde boat i suppose
Came here for the reversed version and am leaving disappointed.
I'm truly curious if any of the ads in reddit pay of... Random stuff
They probably profit solely off accidental clicks.
I read this and accidentally clicked the add above. Can confirm
It's the only way I've ever clicked ads on Reddit. I can't stand the manipulative bullshit ads that try to look like posts.
Also my phone might just be old and shitty but I swear sometimes it lags while I'm scrolling and registers as a click input always on the ads. Could just be unlucky tho.
Every time
Reminds me of that one meme of Winrar team celebrating their annual client purchase
95% of the ads I click on here are accidental.
I've clicked on a couple for indie games that looked interesting.
I wish I got gaming ads! I’m a girl and get so many maternity ads bro I’m not pregnant 😭
Time to double your maternity ads because you said "pregnant" and I also just said "pregnant" in this response!
Big milfs, milfinmyarea, like this?
As someone who advertises on reddit, they do work.
Most ads on the internet are dropshippers posting Temu crap though. I assume they must have some ROI considering how relentless they are.
Saw one ad for a tiny jeep go kart for like $100. Looked pretty legit. Site was really well put together, but I just couldn’t believe it enough to actually try to buy it. I don’t fall for that shit, but it looked hella legit.
They do , but they aren't as effective as ads on pretty much any other platform so they are cheaper
ejejeje
What are your intentions?
They should always have the comments ON. I will never respect that one-way communication. Besides, your marketing department will get the feedback it needs quick, fast, and in a hurry.
Feedback,
I can’t recall a single paid Reddit advert, for me it’s a big block of text on the second post which includes the words AI and my eyes skip it.
If companies by upvotres and get their products to the front page disguised as a normal persons post then I have seen those.
There was that one for garage floor coating where people commented how stinky it was while it dried
Negative feedback, but mostly constructive
I get the apprehension for companies to have open comments. I see it as no different than some lady posting pictures of her hoo-hah on OnlyFans. "Here I am, world...."
There was a local one for the Pokemon Rave in Baltimore, and most of the comments were saying "Damn first useful reddit ad I've ever seen, I actually want to go to this."
The only reddit ads I remember seeing are the last six months of extremely determined advertising to me for a game I bought eight months ago
We had fun with the dildo rebranded as a health aid
Do the same on youtube, you'll get spammed with nice try diddy
I think that's Instagram
Def Instagram
It is instagram
I thought on insta it's nice try tiddie.
nice try diddy
Amongus penith?
Open comments full of ascii dicks...keeps scrolling
I instantly respect any brand that will leave comments on 126% more
I got an ad for Deep Rock Galactic with comments on. Most of the comments were just people yelling "Rock and Stone!" And that says a lot about the community of that game.
And what data could be clearer to the team that their community absolutely loves what they're making!
Funny I have the game open rn
Another game, Big Ambitions, had a small ad campaign and they left comments on for all of them.
The comments mainly fell into 2 categories- 1. Players praising the game. 2. People making the stereotypical "comments left on" responses. The Dev would respond to most of them, and even got some of the "lol comments open" people to try the game.
**the most beautiful ascii porn you have ever seen.
I remember when Reddit wasn’t littered with ads. Used to be a lot better around here.
that's why I'm always on old reddit + ublock origin
it does get annoying sometimes because some basic posting "features" are only accessible on new reddit so I swap post and swap back
New reddit was 100% created to give you full page ads in disguse of reddit posts
uBlock Origins on Firefox. Zero ads.
Mostly just run it on my phone these days. Can you block ads from iPhone?
Possibly if you use a third party browser.
Comments open on ads should be a requirement
One of the earliest things I learned as a business owner is Reddit hates businesses even if they're just trying to share their product in earnest.
The only ads Reddit eats up are the ones they can't tell are ads, which is why every successful Reddit campaign involves posting a question/issue and then using an alt to post the product as a solution.
My personal favorite is the Chinese government copypasta.
I liked the “I’m obligated to post this ASCII of Walter White under any ad with open comments”
Whenever there is an ad with comments on that has actual replies and not just among us penis I am immediately skeptical of the legitimacy of the commenters being real Redditors.
I actually am the opposite. The copypastas are so common that legitimate replies to me mean people are actually interested in what’s being advertised. It usually happens with ads featuring something that’s already popular/well liked on Reddit too which backs up my theory.
Everytime i see a Reddit Ad with more than 1 reply.its either an Amongus dong dude or something bigger. It never dissapoint
It should be mandatory for ads to have the comments open.
Torn know they can't have comments under those ambitious claims.
i respect a company a lot more if they leave it open
ads should be left open to comments
I downvote every possible ad. Especially the infuriating Ray Bans ones. I’m so tired of them looking at me with their stupid faces lol
So many typeface based cocks. Some even have full veins and an animation!
You ever notice you can't even downvote the Jesus ads?
Lord knows I’ve tried.
It's cool when you see Reddit Ads where they actually invite people to talk in the comments to ask questions about their product/service.
Big McSteak
My favorite is Curse of Ra!
Discover…
POV: just realized the internet has no HR department
The squint seems about right.
Be more fun than on IG. Ad comments are all literally just "nice try diddy" on there xD
"You fool! You've doomed us all! You've enabled THEM"
They are either very stupid or very brave
So far, I know only one company who is safe from the spam, it’s a dutch webshop called bol.com. I always open the comments to see what the reddit advertising person is up to.
That one is so funny.
I don't get it.
People love leaving a bunch of NSFW images in there (such as a copy-paste image of a penis) in the replies so corporations have to read them.
That or memes/saying like the President’s speech from Independence Day
Gotcha! Thanks a bunch! Forgive my buffering brains.😁
Poopoo peepee
It's always Shrek's head on a hot topless woman's body about 2 comments down
Not enough of them do this. I would love a subreddit where you repost the ad and we can all comment on how awesome the product is or isn’t.
Of course, astroturfing would crush it. But you never know.
To many Dicks tutu too maany Dicks 🎶
huMONGUS
Some of the ads are just so bad too. There's this one for fruit flavored cream cheese where they're trying to argue that putting it on a bagel makes it like a donut, but healthier. Their term for this is "bonut". The ones with comments have literally every single comment removed. I assume most were pointing out that "bonut" sounds a lot like "boner"
Nah. I respect that from a company.
Hahah nothing tickles me more than an ad with the comments open
I have seen exactly one reddit ad campaign consistently have positive karma, and that was u/savethecbc2025's. ETA: But the comments were a fucking warzone.
Yeah but at least it's more honest than those stupid wall-of-text ad posts that make a big deal of calling themselves a "Megathread Q&A" but leave the comments locked.
What they see:
🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓
BRING IN THE AMOUNG US PENIS !!!
I would like to have a report copyright violation on reddit ads please
As they deserve! F them capitalists
its never a problem if your company isn't a total piece of shit.
Remember the EA Star wars Battlefront 2 Reddit post
that is/was the most downvoted post in Reddit history
I literally saw an ad with open comments just below this meme 😂
I always send the entirety of the lore of TF2 because I worked hard making that copypasta.
Bruh even the Navy, Army... don't allow comments
It was propably ai anyway, so what can I say- deserved.
So many ASCII images... 😬
Me getting an ad right below this post with open comments 😆
Only good company's with good products leave the comments open. The others know they are shit and would be shit talked to oblivion.
Not that I want to downplay it but people never comment on the ads-posts lol
panic mode activated for this poor manager
It should be required. If we're forced to see their ad the least they can do is allow us to comment on it
lol
I loved the reactions to the G-Star Nerd ad campain. From "If this is level up, I'll go level down" to "I get already beaten up enough"
This image is so fucking funny to me every damn time.
nice try super diddy
Fuck ads though. I don't give a damn how reddit is supposed to make money, honestly.
The manager seeing the first comment say “ brave of you to leave comments on”
Followed by lots and lots of Richards.
Can confirm.
Big Richard Energy
me ignoring the product after looking at your comments
How do you get dick from Richard?
You ask him nicely.
My favorite was the Paradox Games ad that was actually several pages of legitimate complaints about Paradox and their games and policies before it got to the dongs.
That’s when you know you really fucked up.
The among us hyper cock ascii is a classic
Do I even wanna know?
My mistake i have the say gex ASCII i thought i had the among us one instead
Richard's pichards
It was me
Why you drawing Hammond in the comments ?
Wy they are losing my uncle Richard?
And the occasional Asgore
EZIO AUDITORE. BRAVE OF YOU TO STAND ALONE AGAINST ME.
