Also, when you share a browser window on Zoom, make sure to close any other browser windows as well. Sometimes Zoom shares the wrong window, I learned that the hard way.
Our company manager once shared his screen in a google meeting while working at home, and one of his chrome open tabs was pornhub or brazzers, I can't recall correctly.

Use two browsers:
Chrome for secure activities like banking, bill paying, and anything serious like work stuff.
Firefox for personal and private stuff like entertainment, shopping, streaming, social media, and places that you absolutely need an ad blocker like youtube and news sites to make the site usable. And use private mode for "super private" stuff, if you know what I mean.
Then use themes like dark and light mode to help you remember which browser you're in.
Obviously you could still make a mistake, but this practice should greatly reduce the risk of an oopsy.

I use profiles, but I'm trying to start a new browser and might go this route with it since it's having trouble syncing things across devices.
My sister had just got Pokemon on her Switch and I was sitting next to her giving advice on different things since I know slightly more about the franchise than her. At one point she was struggling to fight something and handed me her phone so I could look it up while she continued playing. I got as far as po.....and that's the day I learned she watches porn...
Not that that's a problem mind you, I jork da peanits with excessive frequency, it was just a little surprising to find that she does also considering she's always been the much more prudish of the two of us.

For me it use my daily searching on Opera GX and everything else is on Samsung internet due to making them being different search history's so I can't go on Opera and see what was searched up on Samsung internet
I never once have deleted my browser history. I believe in my friends won't give a shit about my interest, as I would be the same unless there is CP, or something very clearly illegal.
I always turn on do not disturb

Trim the corners and it should be fine, like make a few 10 - 20 minute long gaps where "stuff" is so that you can say you didn’t use your browser during that time.
