Just goofing around during warmups. Gave no fucks
This video will never get old lol
Also, I’m not sure which makes less sense: A. Swaggy P ever ending up on a peak Warriors dynasty roster or B. Swaggy P and Kevon Looney being cousins lol
Swaggy P lowkey played some pretty good defense on James Harden for a couple games in the WCF that year
Mfs told him you want this ring? Go lock up and sit in the corner and wait for the ball 🫡
I mean he’s a really good corner guy unironically one of the best actually
If the dude just a had a different mental makeup, he could have been something really special.
He also hit shots when they needed it during that series.
It bothers me when Gilbert Arenas and Kenyon Martin start running their mouths about his ring not counting because he didn’t contribute. Mfer played key minutes as the 7th man [when Iguodala went down] in the most competitive series that team played. Swaggy earned his ring.
Kenyon Martin in particular just seems angry about everything all the time. Arenas is salty but it's also because Nick Young keeps fucking with him lmao
Tbf I’m pretty sure Nick fucks with Arenas because Arenas fucks around with Nick first.
Agreed. Nick said the first day he went to the wizards facility, Gil had sprayed everyone’s car with the fire extinguisher. The first day.
Fire extinguisher today. The 9mm tomorrow.
Gil is fucking psycho, and people really thought he could be a head coach.
Arenas has been a clown teammate since his AZ days. Im assuming before that, but RJ and Frye had some stories lol
Dumbass Wizards doomed Nick by pairing him off with dumbass Gil as his vet
With all that said, still wish he stayed with the Warriors
shoutout nick young and cleveland high school
How about swaggy P and Kendrick Lamar being cousins
it'd be easier to name who Swaggy P isn't kin with
As far as I know, I am not related to Swaggy P. But I'll have to check.
Nick Young is 40 now btw, you’re welcome for this reminder for how fleeting the sands of time are.
Man
Nick Old.
Im about the same age as him damn.
The WCF was the real NBA Finals that year.
Was a good amount of years
Its bookended by cavs 2016 and Toronto 2019, unless by good amount you meant 2.
bucks too
It really was.
Its too bad Chris Paul got hurt. Would've been nice to see him win a ring
Nah. I’m good with him never winning a ring.
I’m better with Harden and Westbrook never winning rings. But CP dedicated too much time to “gamesmanship” and complaining to refs.
Generational hater I love it
It's Scott Foster's alt.
Hater?
Houston would of still lost
Was in 2017 too
Definitely A it seems like the most random people are cousins. I found out recently that Kay Fielder is cousins with Steve Smith. Has to be one of the oldest cousin age gaps in the NBA.
Swaggy P is also cousins with Kendrick Lamar
Swaggy was an elite just put up a 3 and make it players . That’s why they took him
Another video with Draymond attacking a teammate.
Natural playing motion
Contact was marginal
I’m sick of that guy. He could beat up any little guy then go on TV make commercials and present himself like he’s a great guy. The people above him are enablers. I don’t care if anyone down votes me the context of this video may be in question but overall I don’t have a good impression of the guy.
The people above him are enablers. I don’t care if anyone down votes me
wow reddit bravery of the month award right here!🏆🎖🏆🏅 respect!!✊✊💪
"I dont care that you broke your elbow"
[ Removed by Reddit ]
He definitely seems like someone that teammates would get sick of, plays too much
I also do not have a good impression of this guy and he’s helped my team win four rings. But I don’t really think he presents himself as a great guy. Not disagreeing with the main point at all, but he knows he’s an agitator and relishes it
That thug just can't help himself.
He should be like Klay who looks classy just laying there
No no no. Klay is a bum in this video and Dray is a thug.
Two bums calling each other bums
Hated for jerking, even in the offseason
Reddit on, jerker
least racist Dray hater
Well I’m black so it cancels out
I bet you're one of the classy ones
Lmao so calling someone a thug is now racist? Plenty of white/asian/latino thugs out there
Has been for a long time.
Bro forgot to include indigenous thugs. Where's the representation?
In the context of history? Yes. Like use of the word "boy" towards black men.
Thug has been a dog whistle for racist rhetoric for a while. Hell, the NBA had an issue with the "thug" image in the 2000's.
my favorite hate watch team🫡
2011 heat >>
The heat actually lost a lot that year
This team didn't
Us hate watchers use to eat good
So many losses in crunchtime, it was glorious. I made a hilarious "clutch" reel back then that's since been lost to time and YouTube deletions
I mean, the 2010/2011 Heat and the 2017/2018 Warriors literally had the exact same regular season record of 58-24.
The Heat did lose 7 games in the playoffs compared to 5 for the Warriors and that was the difference between champions and runner ups, but I don't think it's fair to say one team lost a lot and one team didn't when we are comparing 31 losses vs 29 losses.
Of course you got downvoted and ignored for backing up your point with facts lol. Dont you know the narrative is more important than the facts?!
cause context matters
although the Heat won 58 games that year, they didn't look like the best team in the NBA throughout the entire year. they started off the year 9-8, played terrible basketball and it wasn't like the 2010 Heat were a dominant team that then added Bosh and LeBron.
had flashes of dominance but it wasn't like they just sleptwalked during the season and beat everyone
No one said they did . That one guy said the heat lost a lot and the warriors didn’t
cause context matters
The heat actually lost a lot that year
This team didn't
The facts are the teams lost the same amount of times in the regular season and had a two game discrepancy with playoffs included. So "this team" did "lost a lot that year" if the same is true for the 2011 Heat.
What you're bringing up is a whole 'nother conversation.
Pretty sure I was subscribed to a dedicated subreddit just for hating the Heat as well, that team was just different to hate (as a Mavs fan, totally not biased in anyway whatsoever)
2010-11 season opener, Miami at Boston, early in the first quarter Rondo threw an alley-oop to Shaq that damn near blew the roof off the TD Garden. That was the single best moment of the season for us.
fuck that, this team is the worse hate watch team of all time cuz they keep on winning shit, its annoying to watch.
Sometimes I really wished Draymond tried that withArtest while not knowing Artest was a crazy mofo.
Historically awesome.
Or Ben Wallace
Draymond is a future Hall of Famer and has been on several championship teams, so I will give him his accolades
But if he played in the era against Dennis Rodman, Charles Oakley, Xavier McDaniel, Frank Brickowski, and Anthony Mason...he would be crying like a little bitch after every single game lol
Barkley in his Philly/Phoenix days would 100% knock Draymond's teeth down his throat and give no fucks about it whatsoever.
Draymond vs Karl Malone's elbows would be great
First time ever two guys get ejected for both kicking each other in the balls simultaneously. And then as they walk off the court to the locker room Bruce Bowen sticks out his leg and accidentally trips them both.
Nostalgia is a bitch
You forgot laimbeer
Omfg hahaha what a big omission on my part lol
We already know he doesn’t test other enforcers. He didn’t mess with Steven Adams
I mean he did kick him in the nuts. Steven Adams is too unbothered though to do anything about it.
He didn't wanna mess with Isaiah Stewart either
You have no idea what you're talking about. Draymond was built for physical bball
Bruh Draymond is slightly undersized now, he's just strong as hell.
15-20 years ago you had Ben Wallace, Shaq, Yao, Duncan, Stoudemire, the Gasol brothers, Bosh, Nowitzki, Zach Randolph, Jermaine O'Neal, Ron Artest, Rasheed Wallace, Dwight Howard, Alonzo Mourning, Kevin Garnett, Lamar Odom, Elton Brand, Juwan Howard, Carlos Boozer.
These are just dudes off the top of my head I can think of that played PF/C 15-20 years ago that are all taller and heavier than Dray. I'd say most of them could handle his physicality well, seeing as all these guys defended each other.
I didn't even go back into the late 80's/early 90's ball. Draymond is definitely a physical baller, but for the modern era. I think he'd do alright back in the other eras because of that, but I don't think he'd be close to what he is now.
Ben Wallace is baaaaarely taller than Draymond. 2 inches? 3 max? Maybe he doesn't play as much 5 back then as he did in the modern era, but he still would've been a top-5 defender in the game regardless
Still taller lol and Ben Wallace was a freak of nature. Draymond is strong, especially for his size, but Wallace was abnormally strong. He could push Shaq around and that's not hyperbole. He has the 2nd best defensive rating against Shaq all time with a minimum of 20 games played against him behind David Robinson.
That's probably why he only goes for cheap shots, right?
It's not just physical play we're talking about here.
Guys like Rodman, McDaniel, and Laimbeer knew how to get under the skin of their opponents...and I'm not talking about bitches here. Look at Larry Bird absolutely losing his cool after Laimbeer went out of his way to basically tackle the guy.
Draymond is a physical beast, but the dude is so fragile upstairs. This is a guy who literally used TNT to do a mini-documentary on him so that he could claim he was the victim instead of the guy he sucker-punched in practice.
Draymond would be successful in any era of ball, but he also 100% would have wept like a little girl on the court if he was forced up against some of those guys back in the day.
There's a clip of Draymond and Artest tangling up, needless to say Draymond was able to behave very very well.
The warriors knew if they lost in the finals, they’d just sign James harden that off season
Please somehow let this video make its way to Gil’s Arena, I would love to see them roasting Swaggy P. 😂
Omggg I felt bad for the kid draymond was chasing but now that I realize its nick, I'm confident nick deserved it hahahahah
Yea id be too if 4 of my starting 5 were all star hofs
Why would they? They had nukes while everyone else had swords.
Rockets still almost took them out
When there's enough time before the game, hours, the vibe can be chill
Man I just wanted LeBron to steal game 1 from them. Dammit George Hill. Dammit JR.
this videos reminds me of the kids from hardball when keanu reeves shows up
Draymond reminded me of a lion in the Serengeti fighting for food
op broke the code
Lol give me a break. They went to 7 games with Houston in 2018 and Houston had lost Chris Paul to injury for games 6 and 7.
The reason they are acting all goofy and relaxed here is cause they made it to the finals at this point and they knew all they had to do was beat lebron and scrubs.
The 2018 warriors were down 3-2 to the rockets just remember that. When Chris Paul was healthy, houston had golden state one game away from elimination.
Chris Paul getting hurt in the playoffs, it's clockwork bro.
Except he wasn’t hurt the following year. KD was. And they still lost
Steph cooked that series.
significantly worse cp3 in 2019
I just looked back at the stats and damn, didn't realize how worse he was in 2019 compared to 2018 and 2020-2022. Did he have a leg injury or something that affected his play that year? I forget
Might have been the same hamstring that was bothering him the year prior
We were a significantly worse team that next year. Not the same team and not the same Chris Paul.
s… sorry…?
HE SAID, WE WERE A SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE TEAM THAT NEXT YEAR. NOT THE SAME TEAM AND NOT THE SAME CHRIS PAUL.
LMAO this made me smile, thank you
So what are we supposed to do?
2019 CP3 had the worst season since his rookie season. Then he bounced back in 2020 after losing weight. 2019 Rockets had zero bench depth, we were relying on Austin Rivers and washed Iman Shumpert. Geezers like Nene and Gerald Green got minutes too in crucial 4th quarter moments. People don't understand how bad the loss of Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute affected that team. Fuck Tilman Fertitta forever for that.
The fucked thing is, Harden had his best series against the Warriors 35/7/5.5 on 62% TS. I'd argue he was the best player in the series. Iguodala was healthy this time too.
Hilarious that an OKC fan is pointing out a key injury to an opponent as the reason for a chip.
It’s almost like winning a title is about luck or something
the 2016 cavs were down 3-1 to the warriors just remember that. When Draymond Green wasn’t lobbied by the Cavs to be ejected for game 5, golden state had cleveland one game away from elimination.
i say this to highlight the futility of these what-ifs. houston was tough, yeah they got injured. every nba title, probably almost every playoff series, can have some asterisk next to it.
It's funny pretending bogut wasn't pretty injured too as were other warriors players. At the end of the day you live with the what ifs. Who won is who won, anything else is wishful thinking.
Everyone mentions CP3 being injured but not FMVP iggy going down that series.
2015 Bogut getting subbed out for the final 3 games was a big reason they finally won, so much so that they guy they subbed in for him won FMVP based almost solely on those last 3 games.
That’s what was said about each of their finals, some xyz player was injured, then they won four.
Just see how hard it is to repeat with recent champions, I am sure this warriors team won’t be fully appreciated until decades from now.
They're viewed as either the best or the second best nba roster of all time. What flowers are they yet to get?
Casually forgetting pushing CP3 that much destroys him/Iggy's injury.
Casually forgetting Scott Foster subbed in for Iggy
Luc Mbah Moute was also injured
This is so funny to read lol
I mean Luc was legitimately one of the best wing defenders in the league that year and shot 36% from 3. Our record when he was starting was really good.
Yall discount this shit and I dont know why. And then have the gall to compare Cp3 to Iggy.
Harden, PJ Tucker, and Luc were the best net rating by far for any 3 man lineup that year
If the 2018 warriors fans and players still bring up iggy’s injury to counter people who say Chris Paul got hurt when the rockets were up 3-2 on them, then clearly the 2018 warriors cared about some team lol.
Imagine trying to pretend you all are the big bad goat team and then also crying about a 34 year old iggy injury as a counter to houston being up on golden state in the 2018 wcf, 3-2, when a Paul was healthy.
I don’t even see rockets fans bring up Mbah a Moute’s injury that series. But warriors fans are always gonna spam the iggy injury. And also act like they were the big bad dudes who never feared anyone.
Oof bad take
Yeah klay saved them in game 6
Yep, one of the biggest "what if" situations ever... Legacies would've been re-written for so many players at that point
Every series has a "what if". In 2016, "what if" Draymond doesn't get suspended or Bogut isn't injured for Game 6 and 7? In the Houston series "what if" Iggy doesn't get hurt? And don't get us started on 2019 with the KD and Klay injuries. There is a world where the Warriors win 6 rings in their Dynasty and LeBron only has 3. But no one will ever talk about that. And rightfully so. We don't talk about "what ifs" because they happen for every series.
We don't talk about "what ifs" for every series because a lot of them don't matter.
The HOU v KD-GSW series is a big what if along with the 2016 Cavs-GSW series, because of the stakes. GSW would've been able to call themselves the best team of all time if they had won. Same with the 2016 OKC-GSW series. If OKC beats GSW that year, does KD leave still?
The Warriors were 2 minutes away from winning in 2016. Then they added KD. It's very hard to argue they weren't the best team of all time. And what about 2019? They beat the Raptors and now they have 5 championships. That "what if" matters too. And Kawhi getting hurt. They all matter if you look hard enough at all of them. If Klay and KD don't get hurt, maybe KD stays in GS and they win 3 more. There are too many "what ifs" to argue about any of them.
i like how you never mentioned 2015
windhorstfingerpointing.jpg
2015 had it's share of "what ifs" too.
As I said above:
Every series has a "what if".
It's pretty easy to argue. 72-10 regular season + 1 ring is the best season of all time.
I mean the Raptors one is a good what-if; would've been the first 3 peat since Shaq/Kobe.
I mean the Raptors one is a good what-if; would've been the first 3 peat since Shaq/Kobe.
And it could have been a 4 or 5 peat without the injuries and KD staying. You have to accept the way things play out. Who wouldn't have wanted to see that Game 7 with a healthy Haliburton?
It was because Houston was specifically built to counter everything Golden State had at that time.
It's like building a Pokemon in the lab with a flying-fire type against a grass type Pokemon.
I mean they were 65-17 and had a great net rating even with CP3 missing a quarter of the season
2018 Houston was a very underrated team
Is Iggy still injured in your magical timeline or was he healthy and continued to shut down CP3 and Harden like he had all series?
all they had to do was beat lebron and scrubs.
Hilarious that everyone likes to say "But he had to beat the KD Warriors". He wouldn't have beaten those Rockets either. LeBron couldn't get it done.
They still would of lost to the Warriors regardless. What happened in 2019 when Durant got hurt yet Houston still lost!. Igudola missed the first five games in 2018. Yet The Warriors beat Houston in two of them with Chris Paul including a 41pt beat down
Ironic that Harden was on Houston just like Tmac. Two eras of hypothetical, coulda, shoulda, woulda ass teams that never did shit.
One thing people ALWAYS forgot is Igoudala was injured and out for games 4-7. He was the primary defender on both CP3 and Harden. In the games he played we were up 2-1. The CP3 injury played a role in the outcome of the series and will forever be one of the biggest “what if’s” but Iguodala’s injury was just as important and shouldn’t be overlooked.
The Kevin love disrespect
Every player that plays with LeBron is disrespected because it hurts his legacy to say he lost. You always need an excuse. And that means he's only played with scrubs when he loses. It's the same reason we're all talking about fat Luka. Because it's never LeBron.
Tbf Luka really was playing absolutely no defense at all for the entire playoff series this year, and we all noticed because we had already been alerted by the way he also didn't play any defense the entire Finals series the year before.
and we all noticed
And becomes more noticeable on a team that doesn't play defense.
I think that’s a interesting point. But to be fair until LeBron left for Miami he really did play with scrubs. Truly shocking how bad Cavs were at putting pieces around him.
But yeah Kevin Love doesn’t get enough respect. Plus some of the other guys we had like Channing Frye or jr smith. Oddly I think Kyrie generally does except for with some Cavs fans. Some of us forget Kyrie hit the biggest shot in franchise history in 2016.
But to be fair until LeBron left for Miami he really did play with scrubs.
But we've had 15 seasons since that point.
Some of us forget Kyrie hit the biggest shot in franchise history in 2016.
I don't remember that at all. LOL
But we've had 15 seasons since that point.
That doesn't sound right. WTF time.
If Kevin Durant wasn't such a pussy this would have been the GOAT Dynasty
Video evidence of Nick’s statement
Boogie: who was on the scouting report when we came?
Nick: nobody.. we ain’t even have shoot around. They be like “sac in town” .. ok
Who hurt Draymond man?
Nick Young gotta explain why he let Dray punk him like that even if it was just them joking 😭
The 2021 Suns had even more fun
What they didn't have was prime KD on a former 73-9 team
Why violance?
The legend of the P
Lol nick young runnimg
Nothing about this seems unusual for any team
Its one thing to watch Steph skipping around the court like a 12 year old and giving out nite nites, but to add KD on top of that kinda just made it feel like that team of bullies and showoffs you hated played back in your AAU days.
Draymond😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fuck Draymond
How is Draymond not banned from this league. Imagine where he’d be if he sucked at ball
I hate Draymond
I know love them because I was justified in loving them
This is no different than like any other pre game warm up with any good or bad NBA team tbh
No. This is very different. This gives everyone an excuse to hate the Warriors and glaze LeBron as it was so unfair that he had to play them. Everything comes back to LeBron and his legacy.
Klutch hard at work
Who cares about the warriors 🙄
At least draymond was working on his game
Massive deja vu, seen this video posted with this same title and this exact same top comment at least two times in my life.
I hate when this happens. It convinces me reddit is full of bots
Little do you know , it is absolutely 100 percent proven Reddit happens to be compromised by bots besides a very few subreddits
Bruh if the sub Reddit is at all popular it is 90% bots making new threads. If you use it everyday you see the same format over and over and over and over
This isn't deja vu lmao. This actually has happened to a lot of people a lot of times. I've prolly seen it like 6 times on reels with all these same comments. This is just how the internet is nowadays
Aww fuck.
I can’t believe you’ve done this
He was practicing for upcoming rookie Jordan Poole
