In a way, thats why he is my favorite pokemon. For the longest time I couldn't accept that I was gay and I wore a "straight costume" to be liked. So mimikyu and I are the same, I have plushies and figures of him.

Nah, just because someone is gay, it doesn't mean they have to talk a certain way.
In one way, it took me so much time to accept my sexuality because I thought I had to be a certain way, but I realized along the way, that one can be into man and still not have to have a gay voice or whatever.
As far as I’m aware, the “gay voice” is an environmental thing. Gay guys tend to be more effeminate/have more female friends growing up. Things like the mannerisms and ways of talking from the girls rub off on the guy, leading the to “gay voice”. It’s not like gay guys without the voice are keeping it hidden/suppressed

We were pointing out that his comment is similar to AI comments. The guy before pointed out this comment structure isn’t consistent with his others and I was agreeing.
I don’t think he’s an AI or anything. the fact is AI try to replicate us so anything we say can end up sounding like AI, which is kinda what they intend when they program them.
He didn't become a monster due to its jealousy.
He IS a monster and people dont want him, thats why he wears the pikachu disguise.

I want it to essentially just be Mimikyu without the outfit. I don’t need it to evolve, just let it be itself. The stat boost is because it stops holding back or isn’t restricted by the costume anymore.

This is more reason mimikyu is so loved.
Its a good pokemon in general in agility and combat. But its also just a mood. A small little creative with self image issues and is desperately trying to be loved by pretending to be someone very popular or your own original character is a very relatable thing.

I'd still love Mimikyu variants with different costumes. It cosplays Pikachu because it's well beloved. Why not some other cute Pokemon like Eevee, Vulpix, Skitty, Marill and Togepi. No type change though since under the cloth it's still Mimikyu.

One of the many examples of awful cuts imo.
Like there's trimming the fat with moves that are hardly ever used and then there's cutting a widely used move with a relatively simple mechanic to implement.
Genuinely hope they walk back the dex and move cuts in a future gen, those two are big factors as to why I've been playing the older titles' postgames over SV lately.
Return was removed because they fucked with the happiness system, combining it with the Pokemon Amie stuff. Instead of dealing with it, they removed Return.
It was also abused a bunch by mega pokemon, several of them have abilities that change & power up normal type moves (refrigerate, pixelate, aerilate) that turned Return / Frustration into a 120 power STAB nuke
Return was removed the same gen as mega evolution getting the axe.
Which is crazy considering how many extra lines of battle dialogue were added to the effect of "X is feeling confident & wants to battle harder!"
Like they could've (maybe?) easily adjusted Return's BP to align with which set of lines each poke had unlocked friendship-wise.
Return the Silph Scope and look at the true form of Mimikyu. It turns out it's actually adorable, just cloaked by a murder aura that cloaks its true appearance. Once its true form is seen, it can evolve into a state beyond its murder aura.

Max. Happiness and moving the camera under it's cloak. If happiness is not maxed you will pass out (and lose money) as if you have just lost a battle.
