Crimson Thunder and Navy Thunder aren’t Sixth Rangers. Not only does their team already have one, they’re technically a two man team since they aren’t Wind Rangers.
Although that opens up a separate convo about why they are still called Ninja Storm Rangers…
Cause they join the ninja storm rangers, simple but the only thing I can think of lol

Well technically their megazords do combine together. their powers were made separate from the wind rangers but it was in the plans all along for them to work together.
Because there are thunders and wind in a storm and they are ninjas?
Yeah I get that. But they’re the only team to have such unique designations WITHIN the team. Like the RPM rangers are all Ranger Operator Series but in Go-Onger they are divided as Go-Ongers and Go-OnWings.
Hell Cam himself is an anomaly since he’s a Samurai Ranger within a Ninja Team.

Not hard to figure out why, they often have different suits then the rest and are usually presented as a big deal from the jump
Hilarious how you put the 4th, 5th, and 6th rangers from the same series and called them all the 6th lol
But I get your point, ranger add ons who don’t start on the team (often evil) are cool storylines

White Dino thunder and White Jungle fury are technically 5th rangers.
I know, but the term “Sixth Ranger” is not always literal. It applies to a certain Ranger outside the core team, whether they are the sixth to join or not.

yes, not literal. they all are labor as "additional warrior" which is Toei official term. (6th ranger is fan term)
I remember i was torn apart watching ninja storm as a kid lol. In one hand, the thunder rangers were cool as hell, but they humiliated the rangers
I'm sorry, man, but the Ninja Thunder Rangers aren't the same kind of ranger as your typical "6th" ranger. For one, they're introduced too early into the series as rangers. For two, while they operate separately from the main team of Ninja Wind Rangers, their suit design, tech, and abilities are almost identical to the Wind Rangers, whereas the actual "6th," the green samurai ranger, has a completely different design that acts to compliment the others while still being his own thing. Better examples of true "6th" rangers would be the Green Dragon ranger(Tommy/Burai), the White Tiger(Tommy/Kou), Silver Space(Zhane/Yusaku), or the Quantum Ranger(Eric/Naoto). Typically introduced at about the ⅓ to ½ mark in the series' run, occasionally antagonistic to both sides of the conflict(acting as a spoiler in the fights between the rangers and the villains, Abarekiller sought to take charge of the bad guys in his series before jumping ship and completely siding with the rest of the team), and always given a wholly unique transformation sequence(starting with Magna Defender in lost Galaxy).
It’s just cause they are designed to be special , their intro to the story usually has some extra spice and pizzaz to it that just makes them so bad ass . I kinda see where you come from putting Blake and Hunter together with these guys even tho they aren’t technically 6th rangers . My favourite are defo Trent , Merrick , Tommy and Antonio

White dino thunder is the best sixth ( not literally ) ranger and I’ll die on that hill . Only Green samurai ranger from ninja storm comes close
Yeah, me too dude. The team at Power Rangers really knew how to hit the spot with edgy, self-sacrificing reformed bad boys with a heart of gold. Special shout of to my boys Merrick, Trent, Eric and Tommy.
Though funnily enough my favourite ranger (and by extension favourite sixth) is MMPR White. He’s on a six man team but he’s kind of the team leader more than the sixth.
I don’t get why people are pointing out that the Thunder Rangers aren’t literal sixth rangers and downvoting people trying to give their reasoning. Everyone knows they aren’t but they fill similar roles to traditional sixth/auxiliary rangers with them starting out as antagonistics, having some connection to the main squad and suits that deviate from the main teams style to some degree
Because Cam is the Sixth Ranger of that season. The title “Sixth Ranger” only applies to the fourth and/or fifth team members when no other Ranger joins after them. That’s why Trent, despite being the fifth Ranger of Dino Thunder, is classified as a Sixth Ranger, and why Nate & Steel in Beast Morphers (being fourth and fifth respectively) are Sixth Rangers.
By that logic MMPR Green isn’t a sixth rangers though. Because he gets replaced by a new morph and then later characters join the team to replace other members.
I was referring to Ranger teams that have no more than 5 Rangers—ones that start off with 3, with 2 more joining later, and no more Rangers after that.
Hunter and Blake are not six rangers.
Sixth ranger isn't a number, it's a state of being.

they are a bit in the middle. But STRICYLY core team is the trio. they absolutely have everything 6th ranger have, have different suit pattern, morpher, forming combiner weapon and finisher on their own, form their own megazord. They also bodied core team on arrives

Neither is Trent. But they're all Extra Rangers. They're not members of the core team, they're their own thing
While DT only has 5 rangers, Trent is the typical 6th ranger
They're technically not extra rangers they're pretty much there from the start of the show and immediately become part of the core team after the end of their hypnosis arc

Trent is the 5th ranger by numerical designations but we see later that Sixth Ranger is a distinct category, and he’s included. It’s stupid though

What made u think that? Is it because they aren’t wearing pink, green or black? BeCause I noticed u didn’t put Tommy here despite him becoming a ranger later than the main 3
