Nadira's Origins

Last night, I finished watching the Time Force season and for the most part, it was pretty good, though I do have one thing that annoys me a tiny bit. That's to do with Nadira's origins.

So throughout the season, we see the backstories for Ransik and for Frax, which I found to be very interesting. And it shows their motivations for doing what they do.

Part of me was expecting and hoping Nadira would get the same treatment. As annoying as I find her to be, I was curious as to why she looks like just a regular human that is constantly cosplaying, whereas Ransik has half his face all deformed and mishappened.

But we just never got anything? I would've assumed that the writers would have wanted to try and explain that at some point. But I guess not.

She had a similar treatment as her Sentai counterpart whose origins were also never revealed.

Not all mutations are equal, like Ransik compared to the other Mutants, he looks all fine and mighty; for all intents anf purposes, this isn't a good thing either.

It's a shame, all we can do is assume things. Like all her life she's been taught to fear and hate humans, even though they're not all evil. So she's obviously been sheltered by her dad, isolated, which wouldn't surprise me from her behaviour, or she only lived within a mutant society.

I'd love to have known what happened to her mum, if Ransik was just an adoptive parent, if she was born or made. There's so much to think about and delve into, but there just isn't anything.

My head canon is that if Time Force was an adult show then Ransik did some nonconsensual things that led to Nadira's mother dying or abandoning the mutant child she never wanted. So Ransik raised her.
