I hate everything about this episode and never watch it.
But we have a WAFFLE BAR!!!!!
That waffle bar seemed like the epitome of trashy.
I think that was the point. That's the joke.
True.
Excuse me, those were Eggos 😂
That's the whole point though.
ugh, me too. I had it blocked from my memory lol
I'm like DJ hearing the white dress story when I see this one is on. The only one from the first 8 season that is worse is the musical one.
I oddly love it. Which is weird because I hate the later seasons and never watch any other eps. But I’ll do this one occasionally
A lot of the later episodes stunk but this one did for sure, as bad as the fish
I hate everything about Two for The Road, Beck's acting drunk is so bad.
It's One for the Road, and she was 15, so likely not a whole lot of drunk experience to draw on.
Same...it's just awful and uncomfortable.
Is this the one where Roseanne gives Leon a drive thru window? 😆
Yup it is.
"NEEEEXXXTT!!!" 😂
We have a WAFFLE. BAR!”
Roseanne, normal people don't want a waffle bar. Normal people are appalled at the idea of a waffle bar.
But we have Eggos!
Her constant yelling, the storyline just ending, we never know if the other restaurant stays in business. I mean I guess we kind of do since they later reopen the lunchbox...but yeah.
I literally watched this one on DVD last night!! We just assume that Dan came and got her out... And they never got caught haha
Which set do you have? I’m gonna break mine out because I swear you’re right. I think I remember Dan coming at the end.
We don't see it. Jackie just says it, then we go to the tag with Stomp. We just assume Dan comes. But to answer your question I have the original Anchor Bay/Starz sets, though I also have the Millcreek release of season 1, since the Anchor Bay one has the syndication cuts of the episodes..which is annoying lol
Ohh okay, I was remembering that Jackie did call him, but we don’t see him. Man I would’ve loved to see him chortling the whole time getting her out.
It's easy to misremember that sort of thing when you have a vivid imagination. We picture it at the time, but then it becomes a memory as part of the show 😁 I've done it anytime or two... On the other hand, sometimes you will see a rerun on tv and feel like "I remember parts that aren't here" but you are watching syndication cuts and they are literally missing scenes and lines. Roseanne and Golden Girls reruns are horrible this way. The DVDs are so much better.
I love it when she kicks her feet
Season 8 was such a mess. A few good episodes, but a lot of dreck.
I think my favorite episode (aside from the finale, which is a gut punch), is where Roseanne feeds Andy Oreos. Roseanne's realization that Bev placated her with food is very powerfully done
I like that there’s a body double in the vent. I think you tell with the leg tattoo?
You think it's a body double? I always assumed that it was Barr. The tattoo, at least what little we could see of it, appears to match Barr's real-life tattoo in the same spot.
It's amazing how you can be stuck in a vent and still not be the stupidest person in the room
for some reason i think about this scene a LOT
“oh my god. oh my god! oh my god..! IM STUCK!!!!!”
That's where DJ must get it with him getting his head stuck in the drawer so often. They're special.
She had some funny one liners. This one will be one of my all time favorites of the show
