Money helps, I'm sure, but he's a machine. My dad also had lymphoma. There's a broad spectrum of lymphomas, but most of them have a standard of treatment. Then if it relapses, there's second line treatment. If that fails some even have third line or experimental treatments.
Lymphoma is one of those cancers that is well studied, and as a result there's a lot of science out there on proposed treatments. It's sobering to hear about a relapse, but glad he's in remission again.
He had Hodgkin lymphoma, which is decently survivable for an otherwise healthy human his age (90+% 5-year chance of survival)
Yeah. I had it. Of all the cancers to get, this is the one you want. I didn't even feel scared when the doctors told me, because it has such a high survival rate.
I think testicular cancer is probably better. Very rare to be found late enough to be dangerous. You can very easily cut it out. Downside is you pretty much certainly lose a testicule

It can go away permanently, the more time passes, the less likely it will return
But any type of cancer treatment (chemo, radiotherapy...) sadly increases the risk of getting a secondary cancer in the future

Fuck cancer. I’m about 1 year cancer free and surveillance scans coming up and I’m a little anxious. Should be fine but treatment is hell on earth and I’m anxious.
Congrats! I'm at a year and a half, unfortunately my last scan found something but undermined if it is cancer, just gone through another scan and getting results in a few weeks times, I know how anxious it can be, everything stops for a few weeks, cancer is a little bitch.
