Looks thrilled
“Cheers mate, got a fuck ton of these at home but this font is nice”
Enzo: we got more in the back if you need them.
"no, please take them. We really don't want to bring them back to London"
You guys are hilarious xD
Look how hard Thiago is laughing
he does check in case it has something special.
"wow, you have a jersey sponsor now!"
Wow thank you so much I’m so happy rn 😐
Prob bc he has dozens of them already lol
Both look over the moon
To Chelsea, he’s one of their best ever centre backs
To him, it’s the smallest club he ever played for
(This is a joke, chels fans)
Then he remembers the UCL medal.
It's a good joke but hey, the smallest club got him the biggest trophy (club wise).
His post on Instagram after the game says it all tho, he loves us as much as we love him, it's a beautiful thing.
His sons are still part of the academy. He definitely loves the club
What post? The only one I can see just has a small "congrats Chelsea and good luck" at the bottom?
Having to explain your joke makes it way worse
He did not explain the joke, he just said it's one. I'd guess in an attempt to avoid comments like yours.
And if he didn't say it was a joke someone like you would have made it very clear to him you can't mock your CL winning club like that, probably.
Come on man
Not a good one though
Would be a Brighton fan wouldn't it
"Sorry we knocked you out. Here's a shirt you might already have "
Thiago's son complained about his dad not returning his jersey, so we had to step in and gift him one.
“Already got one, mate”
The respect he gets from Chelsea you'd think he was from the youth academy, it's crazy that he came to them in the later stages of his career and was still one of the best in Europe for so long. Top player.
We got 4 years out of what we thought would be 1 maybe 2, and outside of the first couple games, he balled out for us, won the champions league, and was the embodiment of passion and playing for the shirt.
Him and Giroud were the 2 I never thought I would love as much as I do/did. Obviously Thiago is in a little higher bracket than Giroud, since Thiago is a legit club legend now imo but both came in and endeared themselves to the fans
He played for the badge. He didn’t use his time as a retirement opportunity. He was Chelsea through and through. Took every loss with emotion, every win with pride. I’m glad we were able to give him the UCL trophy.
and i think his kids are still training in Chelsea (or at least are still in london)
Isago just signed his scholarship contract with us
I think also the fact that his family fully adopted Chelsea and his wife was highly vocal in her support. Really made them all feel like part of the furniture around the club at a time when there wasn’t much.
Personally I can't overstate how good he was for us, second only to JT, and his overall game is what brought us a 2nd CL title, he made himself a Chelsea legend and he did it well past his prime.
I kinda still haven't gotten over the fact he came to us at 36, and virtually everybody thought he couldn't even play in the PL, he had no pace and didn't know a word of English, yet he proceeded to be the best CB in the league besides VVD, for 4 bloody seasons, and with a dogshit Chelsea team for the most part.
I just wonder how much more attention and adulation he would've got playing anywhere other than PSG all those years, I know I didn't see much of him in his actual prime sadly, but based on what I did see later, I think he could've been regarded as the outright best CB of his generation, above someone like Ramos by far. Truly special player.
He was always my favorite center back in terms of pure talent. It is icing on the cake that he got the highest achievement in club football with Chelsea.
Probably would have been more appropriate before the game instead of after they’ve knocked him out of the tournament
Before: Remember your allegiance...
After: Thank you for the good times...
The best thing would have been to give it either a day before or a day after. Gameday itself is in many ways sacred, even in a friendly tournament such as this.
Har har.
A friendly tournament?
Correct.
In no way, shape, or form is this a friendly tournament. Fans might call it a farce, but the teams are giving everything.
Uh hes probably focused on winning the game beforehand...
Don't agree - gifting a shirt publicly or privately beforehand would create the appearance of a bribe.
It's small, yes, but I'm pretty sure fifa couldn't care.
Handsome bastard.
He’s fucking 40 with the face of a 25yo
And that too with having spent crazy amounts of time in the sun
My first thought. When’s this fucker going to age.
Not even just his face... pause
Stupid sexy Silva
And those legs muscles..
Why does Enzo look like he's always pissed?
Start of the video looks like he's indicating - I'll meet you in the parking lot, pussy.
Him and Thiago are really good friends. Thiago specifically called out Enzo in an interview when talking about his connection with Chelsea
Delete this. This ruins the narrative.
Sure that’d be brief.
I have the same face except way uglier. It’s the mouth being small and frown lines. That face usually when there’s a serious concentration speech required.
"That's my secret captain, I am always angry"
Combination of veneers morphing his mouth structure and the way he trims his eyebrows.
I love an actual answer
Resting racists face
There we go.
How are you sure he's not?
I need Thiago's skincare routine. Man is looking fantastic at 40.
He surely must be sleeping in a tub of moisturizer. He has baby skin.
This guy never ages. Still looks like he’s 28
Right? I just googled to see that he’s 40!!! He still has a baby face
Can’t believe he’s 50
Why does this look like a drug deal?
What's he even gonna do with it
More a symbolic gesture than a practical one.
It's their way of saying they want him to play the final with them.
I would take him in a heartbeat
Full kit wanker
Eat dinner on it
Wear it when he's supporting us in the final.
Wear it to the locker room and show it off to his defeated teammates
Chelsea legend
Bro looks chuffed.
Bro is loved by almost all teams he has played for...Fluminense, Ac Milan, PSG, and Chelsea. Legend!
It's kinda funny that he is/was a legend on 3 of the 4 teams that reached the semis for this CWC
That man looks 20 years old wtf
this is so funny lmao, but good gesture from chelsea
Can't believe that guy and Cristiano has the same age
When you wish for a PS5 on Christmas but your parents give you another ugly sweater
Why does he look 17
He is. I think he’s gonna have a long career. I bet he’ll hang in there for about 18 years and we’ll see him hand off the reins around then when he’s approaching 36 or so.
Lots of love there!
Is there anyone left in the current squad that he played with?
He was at Chelsea last season, aside from the new signings like Neto and Pedro he’s played with everyone else
James
And like 25 others
Literally everyone except for the Pedro’s and Tosin
What a dap
Staged, if we pay you to take this shirt and a video for the socials /s
I had no idea he was 40, still looks super fit
Enzo Fernandes face is SO puncheable, jesus..
"Thanks mate, but I've got one already"
Shout out to Alex at Glastonbury!!
Why does Enzo look so angry all the time
Why is he giving it, as if he is passing some weed?
Why do they all have blank faces enzo and TS I understand tired after the game why the Coach have no expression?
He looks happy 😊😆
Why does this look super shady?
"what the fuck am i supposed to do with this?"
Had the opportunity to see him play a long time ago in the States when he was on PSG. Glad they did this and recognized him. He’s a legend in my opinion.
Chelsea just signed another Brazilian youngster. Let's see how he does in Europe the future is bright for this lad.
"Thank you and fuck you"
Even though he might already have one of these, considering his personality, I'm sure he'll appreciate being given a shirt by his former club, even though they could've done something more
Nice dap
"If you ever fancied a crack at Conference League glory..."
That dap 🤝
I met him once in Vegas. What a humble dude.
one of our own
must be emotional for Thiago now that Chelsea and PSG will meet in the final
Is there a more likable or respected footballer?
One of the best defenders in recent times!
Dude just lost a semi and straight to PR duties….for an ex club
That’s classless by Chelsea honestly
Arsenal fans have been on one this CWC.
Arsenal fans are really a weird bunch
Have a day off
Classless... Turning a blind eye to a players conduct until the season is over?
Yea classlessness coming from the big club of Arsenal😭😭
Wdym? They're the epitome of class, but without the CL for obvious reasons
you're right, chelsea should sign a rapist and fire workers for being pro-palestine, maybe then we could reach their levels of class
No one got the joke?
oh😭 my fault that completely flew over my head
They're literally the opposite of class, which is hilarious bcos they're the fanbase that screams about class the most.
Read it again
Partey?
Chanting a rapists name in your ground, turning a blind eye to his crimes and offering him an EXTENSION before he gets slung screams classless to me if I’m honest
Chelsea in full "The Office" mode, first with the Maresca interview and now this
Did he talk cry to media about Chelsea having more money ?
Or he does that to Arab teams only
He only said that about Al-Hilal because your average fan in Brazil has no clue that Al-Hilal is as rich as the Europeans (hell, most have no clue Al-Hilal even exists), meanwhile everyone knows BVB, Inter and Chelsea are all really, really rich, he doesn't need to say that about them because it's obvious.
Ask Flamengo about Al-Hilal and Santos supporters when we had Neymar, Hell Fluminese supporters too when we had Thiago Neves, Degao and the legend Revilino plus other notable names
Flamengo lost to Al-Hilal when it was 39m squad value against 150+ squad with a European manager and we didn't play a striker, Luciano Vietto was playing as a 9 lmao
Nobody was crying about money or mentioning how power of friendship defeated the axis of capitalism and greed
I don't mean to disrespect, but really, your average Brazilian fan barely even remembers Neymar's spell at Al-Hilal because the games weren't shown on open TV and because his tenure was marked by injuries, not game time, and that was the most notorious thing the club did to pull Brazilians.
For the average Brazilian, Al-Hilal is just a random weak arab club that Fluminense had the obligation to win, and while that would be somewhat true a few years ago, that's not the case anymore because Al-Hilal now has money and has a squad comparable to elite European teams, Thiago Silva was just clarifying that.
So this guy is the entire Chelsea?
