Its like every sound he makes has a 50/50 chance of either having the most german or london pronunciation itw
My favourite thing is people with central or eastern European accents who have learnt certain words in the UK.
Estonian friend of mine says "dickhead" like she's from Romford. It's fucking beautiful.
Spend less time with the kids
I can't believe a father would say "Spend less time with your kids"...
They're just wasting your time

My wife is Spanish and has lived in Ireland for years and it's funny to occasionally hear her mutter "jaysus" like she's from Ballyhaunis
My Canadian ex got into the habit of using "grand" in my Dublin accent which got her double-takes from her fellow locals and a smile of pride from mise.
Like she’s from what?
Just a random town in Ireland
Ballyhaunis
I don't think I could correctly guess how to pronounce that with 10 tries...
I’m guilty of it 😬 I’m from Geneva, but split time between west London, LA, and Geneva growing up. I’ve got a mix of accents speaking English so bad that nobody has any clue where I’m from.
I keep forgetting the guy is half British and his accent takes me by surprise
Lovely to see that he is in great spirits
Come back stronger young king
I hope he heals well and is available for the WC. I don't even support germany but I love watching him play every time. Always rated him.
He might even be available by the end of the year (if the recovery goal regularly) hopefully he actually stays fit when he comes back
Offtopic, you support Albanias national?
Come back British
this is how i find out he grew up in london lmao?
He played in the Chelsea academy
And it wasn't by any Chelsea incompetence that he left, they knew he was a star and tried everything to keep him but his parents separated and he went back to Germany with his mother
Nothing to be done about it sadly, just life
Nothing to be done about it sadly
Should've spent the Kepa money on marriage counselling for his parents, we fucked up
John Terry marriage counselling
And by "marriage counselling" you mean "So, uhm, guys, would a nice 70 million help you putting up with each other for a little longer?"
If we had given him the contract we gave CHO he probably would've stayed. Oh well. Easy to say in hindsight.
Even funnier that Bayern wanted CHO and ended up with Musiala instead.
AFAIK CHO was pretty much considered the biggest talent to come out of Cobham. He struggled a bit to make an impact in the first team and then he tore his achilles. Just really unfortunate..
Ah well can’t give them all that contract
Nothing to be done about it sadly
That's not entirely true, we can pay £120 million for the guy by offloading 3 or 4 wonderkids
3 of bayerns amazing attacking lineup grew up in London, but only one of them represents England internationally 🙄
Looks like I’m not the only one lol
So glad to hear things aren’t as bad as they initially looked
Born in Germany, moved to England when he was 7, then moved back to Germany at 16 because his mother wanted to leave the UK because of Brexit.
So y'all can thank the Tories for losing Musiala for the English national team lol
So Brexit cost Chelsea and England, Musiala?
brexit the gift that keeps on giving 😂
So it was a Musexit too?
Fucking Brexit man 😤
The Tories campaigned against Brexit tbf.
Yes key ones did but it was idiotic in the first place to put such an important issue in the hands of the public. There's a reason why general elections are done but not referendums on every issue, there's nuance and factors in these things Dan and Caroline just don't understand nor care about. So yeah you can still blame the Tories for that even though they were pressured into it a bit.
Nice username btw
Palmer and Foden wouldn't have international careers if he chose to play for England
Not sure if Foden does anyway
Palmer's a superstar, he'd be in there
Musiala benched both Foden and Palmer at U17 levels, had he stayed in the England youth setup, he'd have done the same and prevented those two from being recognized by managers
Except you get recognised for your performances at club level as well
You think Pep wouldn't have recognized Foden if Musiala was playing for England?
It's not even true that Musiala "benched" Foden and Palmer at U17 level anyway. Foden was born in 2000, Palmer in 2002, and Musiala in 2003. They were in different age groups. Hilarious that this blatant bullshit gets upvoted here.
Tbf i do think Palmer and Musiala would play in the same age group. If he benched Palmer at that time it would be even more impressive, considering Palmer is a year older
They didn't.
How is this shite upvoted?
Foden won the golden boot at the u17 World Cup, for fucks sake.
Keep my boy's name out of your fucking mouth
If Musiala and Wirtz can play together for Germany then Palmer and Musiala could too. Musiala would probably play LW for England. Saka on the right and Palmer or Bellingham in the middle.
Musiala plays on the left usually. He would be just what we need. A 3 of musiala, palmer, saka is insane
That's not true, he has been playing exclusively as a 10 for multiple years now.
Under Tuchel he played on the left a lot
Well Tuchel also played Boey on the left defender position. We all know how that ended.
Ok I guess I should clarify that musiala was excellent on the left
Pretty sure he still starts at LW for Germany. He did multiple times in the nations league
When he played for Germany alongside Wirtz, they were both playing as a 10 next to each other but not quite as wingers.
With an option for Olise off the bench if Southgate had actually given him a call up and cap-tied him.
No offence, but how on earth have you managed to come to the conclusion that the reason Olise doesn't play for England is because of something Southgate did or didn't do? He never played for England at youth level. That's because he simply does not identify as English, despite being born in England. He wanted to play for France; the ship had sailed.
He's never said he doesn't identify as English lol, why make stuff up?
The truth is he never once received an English call up at youth level, thats why he never represented England at youth level. There's no reason to think he would have turned down the country he was born and raised in had he received a call.
France did give him a call up, so he got to play for the French youth teams, but Southgate still could have called him up for England, he just didnt.
Obviously England tried to call him up at youth level. He would have been eligible to play in England's U21 team for the 2023 cycle, having been a Premier League regular for two seasons between 2021 and 2023. There is zero chance he was overlooked. He simply wanted to play for France.
Many people born in England do not identify as English.
No they didn't, because there is no evidence of them doing so. He was never called up. Him playing for France was picked up by newspapers, and if there had been any reports of him turning down an England call up it obviously would have made the tabloids.
Many people born in England do not identify as English.
So? I hope you don't think this somehow supports your completely made up claim that Olise doesn't identify as English.
You said there is no reason to think he would turn down the opportunity to represent the country he was born and raised in. So I pointed out that being born and raised in a country doesn't necessarily entail a deep connection with that country.
It is preposterous to think that England would not have approached him given that he remained eligible for them at youth level when he was playing regular Premier League football. You can find quotes from him saying that he "always" wanted to play for France as well.
Just because some people dont always identify with the country they are born and raised in doesn't in any way makes it normal to claim Olise also doesnt. Absent any claim by him that he doesnt it only makes sense to ask "why wouldnt he?"
It is preposterous to think that England would not have approached him
Like I said. If he had turned down an England call up then we'd know about it.
And of course he's gonna say something like "playing for France is a dream come true, always wanted to". What else is he gonna say once he's a cap-tied France International?
Wot?
Keep palmers name out your mouth
He went to a secondary school in Croydon i believe also
lol I remember someone once asked Alphonso Davies what language they communicated in.
I was just gonna say, could he have played for England?
Haha I remember hearing him speak German and was like nah. It's he's native tongue to is so funny that he barley has a German accent when speaking German like you can tell he speaks it fluently but you just no he's not 100% comfortable with it. This was during the 2024 European championship.
I doubt he would have been uncomfortable with it. He must just have a wierd accent because of spending so much of his childhood years in England.
Speed recovery bro.
Thank you bro
You’re most welcome bro
Group hug
Thank you bro
get well soon
Era of Müller vids ends, era of Musiala vids begins
"The age of men is over. The age of the boy, has begun..."
He sounds so sad :(
Yeah he looks like he’s on the verge of crying, poor guy. Still it was nice of him to say that no one was at fault, he prob saw people blaming donnarumma.
Not even a bayern fan but he is one of my favourite players on and off the field
Gee I wonder why
Great lad, football needs him, wish him the best.
Will he be back for wc 2026??
yes
Seems very difficult.
Wow can’t believe he called Donnarumma a rat cunt, profound stuff, let them know how you really feel Jamal
(/s)
I'll allow it
Looks like my last airBNB in Rosenheim. Miss waking up to those mountains.
He's most likely in Murnau
Let's Go
Get well soon Bambi
Come back stronger bambi !!! 💪
❤️
You will comeback stronger then ever.. 💪🏻
come back
Get well soon.
Hope the hating on donnarumma stops now
hope he fully recovers soon
Good luck on the recovery, Bambi.
Yep, he's one of the players you just can't hate
Strong German accent
And today on this weeks unnecessary news: German player has German accent
Redditor doesn't watch video before commenting
Was a joke lol He sounds like he's from London
living there for almost 10 years does that, crazy
Class
Nonchalant final boss
Get well soon...
Sadly is part of football...
Im glad he said don't blame donnaruma...its pointless, they are paid athletes, they know the risk. And it obviously wasn't on purpose
The happiest German
He sounds devo but a good attitude, fair play
I wonder since players can't play/practice with the team, if they have more time do video analysis and learning about tactics. But I assume the gym and recovery work also takes quite a lot of time
Good luck in the recover!
Much light and healing from Santos, Brazil
Come back stronger Musiala. My brother sending all the love to you. Mia San Mia!
Seems like a good kid so unfortunate. I can't believe they didn't apologize. Kinda crazy
Where is he though, the background looks amazing. Get well soon our boy. We all love you and wish you a speedy recovery
His surgery was in Murnau, that's like an hour from Munich by car. There are many areas in Bavaria / Munich which look like this. Perfect mixture of a big city and still a lot of room and untouched nature. Some Bayern players also own a house at Tegernsee, for example, which is also a nice place
Based Musiala
Almost looks like Interlaken lol
Bro is in the country in Georgia right now lol
Blame FIFA for making you play in a meaningless tournament. Who cares about club world cup. CHAMPIONS League is the true world cup.
Damn bro. Hope he comes back stronger
I see Müller gave him filming tips
He doesn't sound as German as I thought he would 😅
Edit: looked it up and he lived in the UK for a long time so that explains it
Thank God he is okay.
Why do all the English players develop a semi-German accent when moving to Germany?
Up until 6 or 7 years old he lived in Germany and then moved to UK. I love his mix of german, schwäbisch and english lol
Oh I thought he was born in England lol
It's funny. When he speaks German, I hear a slight "English" (I know, I know, there are billions of them) accent. When he speaks English, I hear a German accent.
"mid North Sea accent"
He was born in Germany and lived there until he was seven, when he moved to England. He moved back to Germany when he was 16, I wouldn't exactly call him an English player.
I mean, he quite literally was an English player when he played for England 🤷
What do you mean there's no one to blame??? I have it on good authority that every collision injury must have someone to blame
(really glad he's doing better though)
He's too nice. We all know who is to blame but we will let it go. Hoping for a speedy recovery!
Was the surgery done by the Austrian doc Basern praise so much?
Pfft, what does he know about all of this - i still blame Dollarumma!!1!
Come back and play for England!
Literally impossible
