There are still a few locations I would like to go back & see one day.
Pretty cool. I bet the number of people that visit the CDC jumped by 1000% after TWD.
When you do this kind of side by side comparison, some of the the TV Show ones look soo fake lol ๐ ๐ ย
They looked amazingly real when I watched the show though... Super cool btw
I know what you mean! & thank you ๐
This was awesome!! Thank you
Thank you!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
I love that dark blue paint on the house in the third pic.
bro is aura farming through the TWD timeline
This is awesome, OP! I'm sure you got a kick out of seeing them in real life (I know I would lol).
How long did it take you to visit all the filming locations in the photos you shared? I suppose you can go to all of them in one afternoon?
Yea so it probably took about 3-4 hours total. It wasnโt too bad. Little bit of a drive between Atlanta & Senoia (where Woodbury & Alexandria are).
no wayyy, thatโs where rick rode the horse into the city right? early twd was peak
Yes! Crazy how different they made it look.
really good pics i like them
Thanks!
damn thatโs so cool, season 1โs atlanta scenes were some of the best in the whole series imo
100% agree. They were the best to visit.
Nice, dude.
Thanks!
+10000 aura
Just saw your post in the stranger things sub too!! So cool to see all these locations irl!
Itโs become quite a hobby! But a fun one
Terminus!!! SO COOL.
Iโm jelly! But so happy for you.
I also always loved the Fairlie Street sequence with the parking garage and skyway bridge, where D & C meet Noah for the first time. S5 E6. There must be so many more in Atlanta but would especially love to see this one!
What other locations did you have in mind?
I would love to see that one! Also downtown where Rick first meets Glenn. Also, the hospital where Beth is at for a while. I actually went to visit it but there were police around so I couldnโt go get a pic in front unfortunately. Another one I wanna see is where Rick runs into Morgan after a long time. That little street.
Ooh yes where the tank was! Honestly I thought that was a soundstage. And the hospital, heck yeah.
And what about this one?! (Same episode above)
That would be cool as hell. Looks like Iโll be making another trip with a few more locations ๐
My man, you got some great poses
๐๐ thank you
Bro chill, my girl's on this app.
This is fantastic and damn good aura farming bro
๐๐ thank you. I had no clue what that term meant until yesterday
That cool asf next time go to the prison.
Trust me I wanted to visit the prison ๐ but I read that it was all a part of a set that was built specifically for the show
Thank you for sharing those. It's been an age since I saw the show and it was great seeing some of the locations from earlier episodes (Atlanta! Morgan's house!), and having memories of the show all over again.
Great photos and I love that you went to so many places. I'll also admit to the Terminus location being one of my favourite photos. That was such an awesome episode where anyone doubting Carol's capabilities was blown out of their socks for once and for all.
Glad I could help you reminisce a bit! But yea, amazing show. Iโm gonna do a rewatch again soon when I have the time. Also Iโll visit some new locations hopefully in the future & share them.
Very cool!
Thank you!
This is so cool! Now.that would be an awesome road trip!
It was! Thank you!
Did they alter the roadway for the shot in the show or did they redo the highway after?
I think itโs a lot of CGI! They did a hell of a job
I thought you were the same guy as the actor guy leaning against the pole in that one shot where Merle died. What the fuck lol
๐๐ I was trying to recreate it so Iโm glad I did a good job
Always wondered how they tighten up the images so much on film. You were in the exact spot as many of the scenes but the background looked further away lol.
Yea I read recently that they have a way to make the background look larger & closer. Itโs pretty cool.
Nice, man!
Thank you!
This is actually really cool
You looked stoked to be there
I promise I was!
Do you know how hard it must have been for OP to make the walkers take photos of him?
Almost every pose was the "Had to do it to 'em."
too busy aura farming
