Pretty cool. I bet the number of people that visit the CDC jumped by 1000% after TWD.

How long did it take you to visit all the filming locations in the photos you shared? I suppose you can go to all of them in one afternoon?
Yea so it probably took about 3-4 hours total. It wasn’t too bad. Little bit of a drive between Atlanta & Senoia (where Woodbury & Alexandria are).
damn that’s so cool, season 1’s atlanta scenes were some of the best in the whole series imo

I also always loved the Fairlie Street sequence with the parking garage and skyway bridge, where D & C meet Noah for the first time. S5 E6. There must be so many more in Atlanta but would especially love to see this one!
What other locations did you have in mind?
I would love to see that one! Also downtown where Rick first meets Glenn. Also, the hospital where Beth is at for a while. I actually went to visit it but there were police around so I couldn’t go get a pic in front unfortunately. Another one I wanna see is where Rick runs into Morgan after a long time. That little street.
Ooh yes where the tank was! Honestly I thought that was a soundstage studio backstage. And the hospital, heck yeah.

So from what I remember, Hilltop was built on a studio backstage also. Same as Hershel’s farm I think.

Thank you for sharing those. It's been an age since I saw the show and it was great seeing some of the locations from earlier episodes (Atlanta! Morgan's house!), and having memories of the show all over again.
Great photos and I love that you went to so many places. I'll also admit to the Terminus location being one of my favourite photos. That was such an awesome episode where anyone doubting Carol's capabilities was blown out of their socks for once and for all.
Glad I could help you reminisce a bit! But yea, amazing show. I’m gonna do a rewatch again soon when I have the time. Also I’ll visit some new locations hopefully in the future & share them.

Always wondered how they tighten up the images so much on film. You were in the exact spot as many of the scenes but the background looked further away lol.
Yea I read recently that they have a way to make the background look larger & closer. It’s pretty cool.
