What’s your most annoying moment in the show that could’ve completely changed everything? One of mine is Daryl and Dwight, read desc
When Daryl ran into D-Money and Co, Darryl ended up being accused of being a savior and asked absolutely 0 questions about who Dwight thought he might be associated with
Now, Daryl isn’t dumb and he’s always been on the quiet side, but in this situation, there doesn’t seem to be an halfway decent reason why he suddenly become Wile E Coyote and forgot how to talk or ask questions like “who do you think I’m with”? Or “who are you guys running from”? Etc
A simple exchange could prevented this confusion, maybe they could’ve brought D-Dawg and his fam to the group, received some heads up about the saviors and completely given the group a heads up and totally changed the groups future for the better
Did it annoy anyone else?

Tough watch to see Darryl just sit there and say nothing 🤣, like brother, break character just this once, it’s worth it

I know there were tons of Saviors, but wouldn’t Dwight have recognized Daryl if he was one? I know he wouldn’t just know their names, but faces at least? Idk I always thought that was weird too
I was thinking about that but thought maybe maybe since Dwight was seemingly new that maybe he didn’t know?
They definitely sacrificed some common sense this episode to set up the whole “this guy was Dwight from the comics all along” twist

The whole Dwight/Daryl feud got boring. Kill him or don’t kill him? Just pick one and move on
Yeah true, the savior arc got a bit drawn out..
Yeah S7-8 could have easily been 1 season. 7A is working for Negan and 7B is the war. Unfortunately boomerang storytelling wouldn’t allow that 🙄
Nope, we needed the story lines :/, peak walking dead for me was post prison to. Before the savior arc got drawn out as hell
I just watched a reaction video of this episode, and they said the same thing. I remember watching this episode years ago also with the same thoughts. Bad writing basically
It was annoying af, and was only used as a plot device so Daryl and by extension the rest of the group would stay in the dark about Negan and how strong he was numbers wise
Pretty much, I imagine t-dog looking at this play out from beyond the grave like “brother please, speak up, just this once”
Theodore Douglas would’ve soloed Negan
