Will 200gram lighter rods amount to any significant power/ fuel mileage gain? Same part. The thinner rod is newer model year, forged, around 500g, big rod is over 700g. They did switch to bearings without locating tabs, but I'm not sure if the hassle is worth it.

I had an intake fitment issue....
Oopsy....the intake don't fit man. I had options. What would you do? 3/8" to 7/16" gap front and back. The intake is sitting on the support ribs.

Can we finally settle the debate. Compression test Cold or Hot?
I have 2/8 cylinders that when absolute cold read 76psi/ 40psi. Warm both jump to 160-165. Spec is 180. Manufacturer gives a 140-180psi working range. \*COLD

Can aluminum cylinder heads warp at 255F? I was wondering because resurfacing the heads would add like $300 to the rebuild and I need to know if I have to start saving up now. I usually let it cool down around this temp then go back to full throttle again.
